  1. Have they not heard of the internet in Malta?
  2. All wins have been at home, right? So the Bruins have to produce something special for this one...
  3. Pink Floyd - Dogs Epic.
  4. It's just hard to say that he chokes when he's up against the players that he is. Djokovic has been unbeatable this year and only an exceptional performance (even by his standards) by Fed could stop him. Can't say Murray choked in the Aussies. Losing to Nadal at Roland Garros? Only Söderlings not done that since Nadal's first win there. In fact, the only player to defeat Nadal or Fed in a slam final apart from eachother is Del Potro on one occasion. Surely, it's not the 'choking' or 'failure' of Murray here, it's the historical brilliance of Nadal and Fed that has kept him and others at bay. And when Murray wins, I actually DON'T believe it will open the floodgates. The current climate indicates that the Fed-Nadal domination could continue for a few more years. If Djokovic can sustain this form then it will make a slam win even harder.
  5. Excuse me, Roo, but how does this suggest there's something wrong? Even without knowing the context of these stats, they look quite impressive to me. But of course, they pale in comparison to Nadal and Federer. Then again, only a handful of players in the sports history could come close to comparing to them.
  6. I just think it's premature to compare Murray's and Henman's failures in slams. Murray's reached at least the QF in eight out of the last 14 slams. Wimbledon apart, Henman only ever got past the fourth round on three occasions. Already at this stage in Murray's career, he's outshone Henman's slam stats. I also think it's harsh claiming that Murray has 'failed' in slams. Nadal is the best clay court player that's ever lived and has since shown he can reproduce that form on all other surfaces, and Federer's probably the best player of all time. Since 2005 (when Murray first appeared on the Tour) only four slam titles out of a possible 26 have NOT ended up in the hands of Nadal or Federer (Safiin in Aus Open 2005, Djokovic in Aus Open 2008 & 2011 and Del Potro in US Open 2009). I'm sure there's never been this kind of dominance over such a long period of time. Losing to these gentlemen is not exactly a 'failure'. In fact, the only reasons I think people are belittling Murray is because of his personality and the stunning form of Djokovic this year that has eclipsed everyone.
  7. He's still just 24 and only been professional on the tour for five years, he's shown he can beat them in the next biggest thing, and he's twice knocked out Nadal in slams. Based on this, why would anyone say that he'll never win a slam or even that he's "like Tim Henman"? You don't have to like the guy or even his playing style, but at least acknowledge he's a brilliant player and twice the player Henman ever was.
  8. Murray is nothing like Henman. He's already won five more titles than Henman did in his whole career, not to mention six Masters titles to Henman's one and he's still only 24. He's reached three slam finals and admittedly been outplayed in all of them, but 2008: Final win over Djokovic in Cincinatti Masters, SF win over Nadal to reach US Open Final, SF win over Federer in Madrid Masters, QF win over Djokovic in Canada Masters 2009: Final win over Nadal in Rotterdam, Final win over Djokovic in Miami Masters, SF wins over Federer in Doha and Indian Wells 2010: Final wins over Federer in China Masters and Canada Masters, SF win over Nadal in same Canada masters, QF win over Nadal at Australian Open suggests he can defeat these guys on his day.
  9. They're better than him, no doubt. But two of them are arguably the best in the history of the sport and the third has been in unreal form this year. Murray has enough qualities to win a Slam. He's done it before (beating Nadal and Fed to win tournaments) and he has a positive head to head record against the latter. "As soon as he gets to the elite players he gets destroyed every single time and it looks like he always will." Seems wildly over the top here.
  10. No he doesn't. He might not be as awesome as those three, but to say he's never going to win a Grand Slam is ridiculous, especially when he's already appeared in three finals.
  11. It's even getting plenty of media coverage over here what with Jannik Hansen appearing as the first Dane in the Stanley Cup final. From the highlights I've seen, the goaltenders have been magnificent!
  12. I wonder if Fed can recover from this
  13. Eurosport UK highlights
  14. It was the cover that made you buy it, right? Kidding aside, it's a decent album but not a patch on old stuff like Classical Mushroom
  15. And their whole catalog can be heard here along with free downloads of their latest singles
  16. The Beta is being planned for Third Quarter launch (somewhere between July and September), but if you're into this genre keep an eye out for Torchlight 2 and Path of Exile, smaller titles that should be released this year too.
  17. Yeah, after I realized, it was quite obvious. I thought "wow, they've really done a sterling job to make him look so young again... oh wait"
  18. The CGI work on Bridges was excellent though. It took me a while to realize
  19. Looks fantastic! The waterfalls look odd though. Will it still be a single-player game?
  20. She's right though, it can come from the ground: Linky I suppose the joke's on you then
  21. Shamefully I haven't even seen it yet
  22. Getting them over here can be quite difficult. I have all the Ghiblis/Animes I can get in shops (Spirited Away, Flying Castle, Kiki, Totoro, Ponyo, Mononoke and even Grave of the Fireflies). The two latter ones were very difficult to find. Never found the three I was looking for in any Danish shop And thanks for the right name Thanks Finners and zubi as well for the tips
  23. What's the correct name? Google search only brings up you forum post as a hit Still have to watch Laputa, Nausicaa and the The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. They're not readily accessible here so might have to scour the internet. Any suggestions? Yesterday I saw the new Tron movie (forgettable) and which was quite good. Recommendable, especially if you know little about French colonial history.
