Yes, really. Although I don't really suppose it was their fault per se, it was certainly the fault of the sound engineer or their instruments/equipment. Porcupine Tree came on straight after and had a pristine sound, so it definitely wasn't the venue.

Agreed, it's not that bad. Attack of the Clones however is absolute crap though. I'm sure there's good stuff in there, but the long drawn-out love scenes in an otherwise cringeworthy relationship between Anakin and Padme really stand out. The trilogy redeems itself somewhat in Revenge of the Sith, even if it does still spend too much time on the love story

'Thirded'. Always enjoy Jeff Bridges even if he has had some awful roles in the past. You know when the Coen's make a movie that it's going to keep a pretty high standard at worst and True Grit just flies by. Love how they kept the Western style intact while adding some trademark brilliant Coen-stuff. Bridges, Damon and that young Hailee Steinfeld all excellent.

It's exactly that which is brilliant. The interrogation scene you mention has become one of my favourite opening scenes ever.

I love it! I know it has its critics and maybe being able to understand all the languages (apart from Italian) in the movie added another dimension, but it just has amazingly cool scenes. He doesn't do bad movies that Quentin. Also went to see 'Biutiful' the other day. Its excellent, it really is. Javier Bardem and Maricel Alvarez are both fantastic in their roles and I like how it portrays the actions and situations of the characters in a very nuanced way. Very deserved nominations for the award ceremonies!!
