If only we had a young promising striker banging them in for u21s wanted by Man Utd and Spurs last summer....nah let's go for another ageing striker who will be of middling quality but extortionate wages because we simply cannot afford to buy anyone in Jan. This gaffer isn't right in the dome!

Indeed, some said the whole season so not sure what to believe. The fact this manager is relying on a CB who won't be fit in time to help us and an injury prone attacking midfielder...who won't be back in time to helps us is well.....laughable!

Can't say for sure how many games he played under Cooper but I'm sure he was really fond of Harry holding up a "we miss you Enzo" sign......must have loved Stevie boy. I do in fact consider the PL to be harder than the Championship and I don't see Ruud doing any worse than Marti with this crop in an inferior league. Marti making a real pigs ear of looking like a real manager!

Yeah fair enough, I worded it wrongly! He wasn't forced out however...we got offered £40m which we sorely needed and he gets to stay in the PL at a high level.

I remember his goodbye post was the only one that moved me a bit and really felt like someone that should have been with us for years and years but had no ill will towards him for not wanting to play in the Championship at that point in his career.

He's comfortably better than Gordon and I've held that opinion for ages...cannot understand what AG actually offers. Never impresses me but is always favoured by Howe!
