I'm not expecting to blitz L1 after what we've been subject to this past two seasons. Until we hear genuine or weighty links, I'm not putting much stock in any of these names being banded about. We can't trust this board to act in a timely manner and they've not learnt from past failings so I'm unenthused by it all currently!

There was 100% DDA back in those days of Fifa. The silver Brazilian cards weren't hugely inflated in price for no reason...they were fundamentally broken(Kelvin, Cristiano). Some hidden mechanic that tried to level the playing field but instead they just went fully the other way and made your high tier gold cards just completely s**t the bed.

No didn't rate any of them, especially after comparing it to the football we were playing. Scored 89 goals in 23/24 and won lots of games, would bite your arm off for that now! It's interesting you say you'd give him the respect if he does well at Man City considering they'll have the best/2nd best squad in the league if he took over next season but won't give him that credence because we had the strongest squad in the championship.

It doesn't work like that mate, its not about how much you spend, its about how you spend it. Chelsea's approach is scattergun. Buy any world prospect and throw them on an 8 year deal. Their recruitment since BlueCo have come in has been about 80% misses. Enzo had navigated that quite well and is clearly strong on his decision making with the "bomb squad" he exiled early on. I'm a bit bored of having to defend what he did for us as well tbh...look at where we are now

I hear what you're saying, at times it was frustrating....but we won. Chelsea the same. You can look at the competitions but can only win what you're in! They did batter PSG in the CWC. I look at Chelsea's dodgy yank owners and he clearly didn't like the parameters he had to work in, and saw it coming for us too!

Genuinely curious as to why some would say no to this? We've just watched a full season of Ayew and Daka (Ayew with 9 contributions in 42 matches) and Vardy has got 8 contributions in about half the matches in a superior league. If its because we don't want to block youth pathways of someone like Evans or Hutchinson then fair enough I guess but it couldn't have been worse than what we got served up this past season. Maybe he can mentor some of the lads coming through! Also if its to stop Wednesday signing him and scoring against us...no brainer

I struggle to criticise a manager that has delivers such a successful philosophy so clearly to a group of players, both at Leicester and now Chelsea to the point everyone is ALL IN. That's what everyone dreams of...a gaffer everyone can get behind regardless of what people think about the style itself. Proves he knows what he's talking about. Not a surprise at all that since he left both clubs, they've gone to the dogs!
