I'm merely observing how the Leicester city fanbase generally take to coaches. I liked Enzo's style for what it's worth. Never understood the criticism myself because we walked the league really. But I'd like to be entertained if we're in a crap league, I'd expect to see it if I'm honest. Playing turgid football in a turgid league won't be for me.

Because he works with better players, his style would come across more next year as one of the stronger squads in the league. If you're offering him or Dyche in the second tier...it's a clear choice for me all day. As I already said, people were bored under Enzo who we won and scored loads under. Wouldn't take long at all for people to turn on Dyche when we're putting glass eyes to sleep. Ideally we somehow find another candidate that is exciting and works, so we get the best of losing Ruud but still playing attractive footy.

Can you imagine Dyche in the Championship?....my word. Scott Parker settings of boring. People didn't like a progressive coach like Enzo for being boring despite scoring loads and winning every match. I'd keep Ruud next year, I've said it before if you'd rather go down the other "safe" route, f that.

Possibly! I just remember he was on their radar before we appointed him and thought it was around the time we were banding around some interesting names, like Maresca.

Spot on OP. Get rid of Ruud but nothing changes. Top has had FAR too many chances now. It's over, leave!

He was a candidate when we got relegated last time.

Yeah it's more a slight on the higher ups and their management of youths I think. Was clear as day he was gonna be a talent going back to Rodgers. Had the awful injury of course which set him back but he's dropped straight into the Championship and doesn't look out if place. Great signs!

I think we're on the longest run in any team in the top 4 English leagues without scoring a league goal (5) games. Apparently our club record is 7 in 1988 in the league. So with Man Utd and City next, likely we match that.

I think the fans have come around to seeing that Rodgers was raising some very valid issues with the club and those chickens have come to roost. You can be wrong and although Rodgers downed tools looking for a payout and threw his squad under the bus, ultimately the things he was saying about squad refreshes and money being there to spend and it being pulled underneath him...were true then and are true now. Highlighting our biggest problem...the board/ownership. Change a manager and get nowhere. The squad isn't good enough to stay up.

He hasn't started that many games and when he had, for the most part, has had Cardiff fans raving about him. Most likely just getting back up to speed, he will be class at this level no doubt.

The experience is the main thing. He'll thrive in a team that has most of the ball so we should be good next season. Get him into the flow of a game.

At this point I'm so done with PL football that I'd happy take a deduction if it meant a complete reset to this whole club. Just want to win a couple games.
