  1. Getting £10m for Cannon is looking better and better at the moment. He's done nothing for Sheff U so far.
  2. Same with Raikhy I'd imagine. There is zero future for them for us when you consider the level they're currently at, it's too big of a gap.
  3. Was about to say...couldn't believe he was a free agent when I read the OP but then remembered and it all makes sense now.
  4. To be honest, you can lose games and still have your head held high and today was one of them. However...Winks passing was atrocious when he came on. Ndidi and Bouba straight back in for Arsenal!
  5. My word...we're so bad on corners. That's a peach from LT and no one fancies it.
  6. That's horrid. What's the point in Woyo? How can Facundo or Stephy not get a start here? No striker on the bench...wheres Evans? Good job selling Cannon when you see the state of those subs.
  7. People are missing the crucial part of why this deal wouldn't happen anyway....the bloke would turn the move down. He think's he's Mascherano.
  8. You see the mics caught him slagging off the lino for being overweight in the Goodison tunnel? I also feel this could be true and I absolutely adore him, my favourite ever player...but wouldn't want to know about him in his personal life and the company he keeps if you know what I mean.
  9. It's an easy win for the club as well as the fans get to see homegrown products come through and how much worse than the current bunch out there week in, week out can they be?
  10. I think you know what I mean, a style he probably wants to play. He's obviously got a weak squad for the league we're in and at times I think you'd have to admit it's looked good. Thinking the Man City game specifically. QPR was another good example of dismantling a team who'd been on a good run of form up until that point. We can both agree Maresca's style is distinct but I highly doubt you'd have seen a sustained spell of it in many games in the PL with this squad.
  11. Just confirmed to have gone to Atlanta for a club record fee.
  12. I've got to be honest, he's certainly not been what I thought he would be but I think he's a manager who works well with big characters and top talent more than the dross we've got currently. He needs to improve with in game-management and match set up but lets not pretend he's hasn't been hung out to dry. We've sp*nked all our money this season for a manager that wasn't the right fit, had a poor talent ID and the players booted out 11 games in. For what it's worth, unless Top has completely burnt the bridges with Ruud and he doesn't trust his higher-ups anymore, I'd keep him for this style in the Championship. Can't think of much worse than having a horrid PL season like Burnley and then watching Scott Parker ball for 46 games.
  13. I always understood it to be someone whom Maresca absolutely had in his plans to start...and possibly make captain. The problem was he broke his foot in the final pre-season game, we played Faes and Vestergaard gameweek 1 and never looked back unfortunately.
  14. You can get a good laugh going back to Page 1 of this thread and seeing the comments to be fair. Many, me included, were fooled by the waffling scouser.
  15. Did Yoda create this thread?
  16. I'm on Xbox mate, I'd imagine if you're a PC player than it's certainly more aim dependent. I managed to get to Diamond rank last night almost exclusively playing Rocket but the jump up is noticeable. If we already have a couple of supports and it works with the team I pick Bucky, his ultimate is a farce .
  17. Most second division titles in history. Chin up mush.
  18. If we don't get hit with any sort of punishment then we'll just win the Championship again. It's automatic when it comes to us and the second tier. Don't do half measures.
  19. If they abode by PSR they'd have been relegated chap . You're sort of proving their point. We ABSOLUTELY should have broken PSR. or maybe...just maybe, should have sold Thomas and McAteer (completely out of favour) players for the money we were being offered to then reinvest. It's actually quite simple.
  20. Thanks for proving everything we said about the "leader" misnomer correct 🤣
  21. Because the guy wants to argue with people for the sake of it. Everyone's tired of him being contrarian.🤣
  22. My word...it seems like they can't get any money for half the players. They pay too much and then when a good offer comes in...we reject it.
  23. Make no bones about it, this is nothing more than a PSR workaround. Both probably won't play so we now live in a world where transfers are being done not even to have any impact on the pitch whatsoever. Also how has it come to pass that clubs (including us) can seemingly make better transfers in the championship then the Premier League🤣. Football is backwards.
  24. That's very clever. Fair play! An announcement with a teaser for another.
  25. Saw people genuinely against breaking PSR when it was suggested at the start of the window...my question is WHY? We've got weaker in consecutive Jan windows to apparently comply and look where it's got us? It'll be very interesting if those against breaking PSR still feel the same by the end of tonight.
