Happy clapper alert. Side note, you have a profile picture of a man who knew what it meant to achieve his club's targets, how do you reconcile with Marti being on the opposite end of the spectrum in mentality to Pearson?
-
Thats a shame. We need to bring that number closer to zero. Still baffles me that Leicester City customers are still financially supporting this ownership.

Emery should have been our manager after sacking Rodgers at the right time, I really hate our ownership. Top and Rudkin can go **** themselves. -
I told you guys... Absolute fraud of a manager.
-
How much do you want to bet Rudkin got paid on time? Not to mention the bonus he's about to get for such a shroud loan, bringing in a 35 year old cripple

Will the 35 year old play today -
Cifuentes is managing the biggest club in the Championship with a wealth of young prospects yet he's been a shocking appointment? So what gives?
-
Its almost like being a Manager vs an Assistant Coach are two completely different things. RVN as the manager has the final say on lineups, formations, tactics. So whatever good BBM was doing on the training ground will obviously be outshadowed by RVN's poor management.
-
Umm... no. I'm looking at the difference between RVN's coaching and the difference between Murphy's coaching. There is a clear distinction.
-
Because I'm comparing and contrasting from Ruud's coaching vs Brian Barry Murphys coaching.
-
Unfortunately Ruud's stubbornness overrided Murphy's contribution.
-
Its the entire performance, not just the first half. If you're unable to analyse a football coach's impact on his team's identity after watching a match, then maybe some tactical education would be helpful. Theres not a single match that Cifuentes has coached better than what I've seen from Brian Barry Murphy, lets put it that way.
-
You're not understanding the point. The point is within that timeframe, you can already see how Murphy sets his team up, how he wants them to play, their passing sequences, triangles, defensive shape etc. All those aspects being coached are better than whatever Marti has served up during his entire tenure here. Chelsea will probably end up bringing in the big guns in the 2nd half, so the result itself won't be relevant. The performance is what matters.
-
Its half time now, sky sports commentators even said they're astounded that Cardiff are so comfortable on the ball, moving it nicely, etc. If Cifuentes was managing Cardiff, they'd be around 3-0 down in the first half.
-
Mad first half, genuinely looks like two Premier League teams playing each other.
-
15 minutes of Cardiff vs Chelsea and can already see he's a better coach than Cifuentes. He's absolutely dominating Chelsea. Regardless of whatever the result will be tonight, you can see his ideas coming to fruition on the pitch.

Your argument falls flat because Tielemans did not go to a PSG, Arsenal or Man City. We were competing for UCL spots while he was here. We were winning trophies. You're literally slagging Tielemans off (a victim of Rudkin's incompetence) when you deep down know that our board mis-managed his contract situation. Tielemans happily went to Villa in 22/23 summer who finished 7th that year after being saved by Emery during a relegation battle, completely blows the argument of him only wanting a top club.
-
If you believe Rudkin & Co were "trying", then thats another conversation in the first place. They've shown us time and time again they can't even get the basics right, what makes you think they made genuine attempts to resolve the Tielemans situation? Its simply pathetic management, anything that requires effort at this club is not done, but when it comes to extending garbage players like Luke Thomas they're quick to settle it. It shows a complete lack of dedication towards their job duties and chosing the cowards way out. Vestegaard contract extension because it was easier than finding a replacement. Hamza contract extension because it was easier than finding a replacement. But Tielemans? Oh well, that takes too much effort lets just let him run it down.
-
Thank you for saying the same thing twice. Not extending a players' contract means they leave for free.
-
Umm... Marinakis extended Morgan Gibbs White's contract, Top let Tielemans run his contract down. Thats not ambition, thats pure incompetence. Letting players leave the club for free is not ambition.
-
But thats why I said, in the meantime why can't we try a fluid front 3 of Monga (LW), Mavididi (ST), Fatawu (RW)? Mavididi played as a 9 in the French league. Lots of pace, lots of technicality, let them build an understanding with each other.
-
Tielemans was still young when he joined Monaco, you're allowed to have that grace period until the age of 21. The Striker you have suggested is turning 25 next month, by that age you should not be a failure at "PSV". We've seen a plethora of players who were actually great in the Dutch league become flops in the Premier League. So if you're not even great in the Eredivisie what confidence should we have as fans about you as a player?
-
Then shouldn't the better option be to wait until we can actually buy a player of said quality? It goes back to my comment on everyone looking for short-term stop-gaps. I don't want to just bring in yet another shit striker, we've done that enough times. You buy wrong, you buy twice. Try a fluid front 3 of Monga, Mavididi, Fatawu. Mavididi has experience playing in the 9 position.
-
Thats a problem in and of itself and exactly why we're in this crap position in the first place.
