  1. My daughter had no success for this season with 53, but she has 71 points now, so fingers crossed. Thanks for the reply.
  2. Any idea what the points threshold will be?
  3. You need to pre book on the website. Adult tickets £3. £1 for children
  4. Here tonight, for the first time, for the under 21 match. The facility is even more impressive up close. It’s something to be proud of. In a time of negatives around the club. Seagrave should only be seen as a positive. I definitely recommend coming to check it out for yourselves.
  5. I take my stepdaughter to games, constantly moving my ST seat to enable us to sit together. I’m hoping to get her a season ticket (tried for the past couple of years). I wonder how points she’ll need to finally get one? Like you pointed out, footballs not the same when she’s not there. We always make a day of it, so even if the games are as bad as they are now, we still have a good day. Good luck getting your lad a ST
  6. Or getting our house in order before a transfer embargo 🤷‍♂️
  7. P45 for his birthday present?
  8. The manager that knocked us out of league cup, now gets to manage us in the FA Cup, against the opposition he was in charge of……… I’m quite looking forward to it.
  9. I don’t like seeing them win a throw in, never mind a league title………..
  10. Definitely. And West Ham and Palace are not without their problems. Also until recently, in West Ham’s case, neither have won a meaningful trophy. (Certainly not in my lifetime, born 80’s)
  11. Bolton, Portsmouth and Wigan still haven’t recovered from their time in the sun
  12. That’s the hardest thing to do. Sell well and replace to the same ability. Your network looks greater than ours and I’m sure you won’t get it as badly wrong as we have done, but already I can see the problem in Sangare. 75k a week (30 million in transfer fee). Trying to recoup that or move him on is hard when all suitable takers are unlikely to afford wages/transfer fee.
  13. I was thinking the same the other day. Although didn’t realise how little they were currently paying in wages. But that’s the problem for them, in the future. At the moment they are ‘carrot and stick’. We’ll give you improved contracts for getting us into Europe. Once you break into Europe, wage structure goes through the roof and it becomes a problem if you can’t repeat it. Yes you can sell assets but then once you replace those players, the new players want the same wages as others within the club. Now it’s less ‘carrot and stick’ and more just ‘carrots no stick’. And that is why our wage bill is massive and worse because we are lumped with players we can’t move on.
  14. Wouldn’t be against this if the terms are favourable. (That’s a big IF, with Rudkin as DoF). Still got plenty to offer for the next 4 years, I’d imagine. Hopefully other targets, in other positions are on the younger side. Don’t want a side littered with players past their prime. Especially if we go back down.
