Golding was signed to get around PSR. We needed £30 million for KDH. Chelsea only prepared to pay that, if we paid £5 million for Golding. Seen him play once for the under 21’s. He was fine but didn’t standout as anything special. Certainly not a £5 million player.

This and it probably helps them commercially with the Australian market.

I don’t think any player trading can take place whilst the club is being bought as this affects the valuation, so I wonder if any serious potential investors are waiting for the transfer window to close, then negotiate a deal?
