  1. Journalists suggesting he’ll receive a ban ranging from 6 to 18 months for his part in Spygate. l doubt he’d fancy working in this country again, even if it was possible.
  2. It did appear to end abruptly. Think the whole podcast was an hour and 7 minutes.
  3. Jordan of BSLB was on the latest fan debate podcast. The whole podcast is worth a listen, but you can hear Jord give his opinion about Leicester on, roughly, the final 10minutes of the pod. You could feel the awkwardness from Conor Coady (who was also on the show). Jord gave a good account of our problems, in a limited amount of time given to him. It all helps highlight who the culprits are and who’s to blame for overseeing our demise.

    Abdul Fatawu

According to Google, it’s Lookman from Charlton to Everton for £11m
  5. Ideally, we have someone in place by the start of June. If we want to hit the ground running and change the culture within the club, we need a new manager in place, at the earliest opportunity. The longer it drags, the worse the atmosphere deepens at the club for the players and the fan base. Do I have any faith in this happening? Not really, unfortunately.
  6. A fish rots from the head down. Players don’t get a free pass, but our problems stem from the lack of leadership at the very top of the club.
  7. Chap near me said it doesn’t help to boo him when he missed the penalty. Whilst he is right. It’s also not helpful starting him and playing him for 70+ minutes every week! Had enough of him and his footballing ‘ability’
  8. This is a big concern for me. We haven’t got the calibre of players to implement that style (and we’re not going to be able to afford/attract those players either). Hire a pragmatic coach who can make us solid at the back, likes to attack quickly and favours youth. At the very least, we all need a team and style that we can get behind as a fan base.
  9. If this signing was made circa 2013, we’d all be quietly optimistic. Steve Walsh had an eye for unearthing hidden gems and Pearson wouldn’t accept anyone that wasn’t going to give 100% for the shirt. Unfortunately, it’s circus 2026, where Martyn Glover hasn’t had a single hit in the January window (and a poor track record in general) and Cifuentes hasn’t got a single player, already at the club, playing better than RvN, Cooper, Maresca or Rodgers. This transfer is hope rather than expectation and that is the theme with anything to do with our club now.
  10. Whilst I’m not excited about the signing, for my own sanity, not watching 90 minutes of Jordan Ayew is definitely a plus.
  11. Our daughter suffered an horrendous knee injury a couple of years ago, playing hockey. Her kneecap pulled her away with her ligaments, resulting in two surgical procedures. During rehab, she then suffered an ACL tear. Resulting in more surgery. She was on the England pathway but has had her dream of making it as a pro taken away. In fact, she isn’t playing any sport at the moment. We, as a family, went last night, hoping to inspire her not to give up on her recovery. Hearing someone else’s story that she feels connected too, might provide the nudge she needs. Last night won’t be for everyone, but why mock? The club deserve a lot of criticism (on and off the field) but this was a positive thing it was doing within its community.
  12. I’ve seen some of their fans suggest that Nuno wanted to sign Kristiansen and Traore. Maybe their board aren’t as easily as led as ours. It’d be nice to see them implode, but perhaps they’ve made a good decision.
  13. I agree. I refuse to fooled for the umpteenth time because of a decent performance on Friday night.
  14. Okoli already in Italy (Rome). I assume it’s for international duty
  15. Monga can be Fatawu’s cover on the right (he’ll get enough minutes throughout the season). Solomon and Mavididi to compete for the left wing spot. Works for me. Especially if it’s a loan.
  16. Wouldn’t surprise me to see him at Lyon in a couple of years time, when forest flip him for double the price they paid. Either way, I’d sooner take the cash now, as like many other players still at the club, it’s time to move on, for the good of everyone.
  17. Really irks me every time I see him given the captains armband. Hardly a model pro. He simply isn’t good enough for the wage we pay him. Get rid if it’s genuinely a viable option.

    Joao Rego

Could we play Bilal as an 8 rather than a 10, if he was to stay?
  19. Looking forward to Leicestershire Live using the headline, Leicester Enter Race For Isak
  20. Both Mads and Mavididi were supposedly on £15k a week when we first signed them. Don’t know how true that was or if they got a wage increase when we won promotion.
  21. Daughter’s school friend, lives in the same village and on the same street. She said his house is on the market.
  22. Ndidi’s house is up for sale. So I wouldn’t worry about the deal being held up by someone trying to hijack the deal. He’s definitely off.
  23. Echo a lot of what others have said about him being a good servant and very good player (especially in his first 5 years). Injuries have taken their toll and we need to reduce our wage bill, generate some funds and refresh the team. Goodbye and good luck
