Nobody has said no-one is not getting paid, it’s the fact that the club has always honoured paying staff before Xmas (like a lot of companies now) for the past few years but the club have only communicated to staff this afternoon that they won’t be getting paid till after Xmas now - early payday would of likely of been tomorrow. A lot of people budget around paydays and without no prior warning, it’s just poor appreciation and respect to staff to notify so late - especially considering this is what they so happened to want to build their reputation as 😏

Never underestimate the need of having a solid pre season, the club messed up appointing a manager so late. A lot of the issues could of been identified or resolved within pre season if the club acted sooner There’s been injuries, suspensions etc that can impact selection. However, our views as fans are completely different to what’s happening on a daily basis there and also going into somewhere with a fresh perspective. I can see why he would trust a player of Winks’ experience and calibre believing that he can get the best out of him - the main thing is he’s identified it and seems to be moving forward

Woooooow! Unbelievableeeeeeee

Exactly this! 💯 BDCR has looked good at this level as the 10, Ayew gives you an outlet to hit and does well playing with his back to goal/hold up play. Our problem is our wingers have been too slow and everything into feet - if they speed up their play like today and we find balls in behind for them, Ayew will compliment their game
-
Possibly, I think we’ve been unfortunate that some injuries have possibly enabled players like Winks and Faes to stay in the side. Although coming into pre season so late, MC is possibly still trying to work out his players, x2 senior players on high wages you can see why he would feel the need to try and work with them to start and hope he can get a tune out of them. Hopefully we never see either of them again

A very good half! Energy and fight out of possession, playing with a purpose, breaking quickly and dangerous in attack. Finally a bit of rotation in attack and WB’s joining in high up the pitch Only moans are Jaks kicking and Vesty still seems half asleep With how open the game is, it could play into Daka’s hands to hurt them with pace in behind. Ayew has given us so much more than Daka could have though

It’s like an abusive relationship 🤣

We’re taking the piss 🤣

Intent, energy, desire. Never underestimate what one or two bad characters can do to a side

Ayew 💯 onside then

💯 onside then! Ayew robbed that goal

The difference in this side with no Winks and Faes 😅

We’re gonna win the league 😅

Wolves are still a premier league which will attract managers, without knowing too much of their situation they could also be plan in ahead to ensure they are set up ready for life in the championship giving Edwards assurances he will get the backing and time to get them straight back up. If not believing he has enough time to keep them up with a January transfer window, we should of done this with Rodgers but sat on our hands when fans was crying out for change because the signs was there as to where the club was heading I don’t believe a short term solution is the answer, this club needs a bit of stability and someone who is capable to rebuilding a side. Players are out of contact in the summer (thank god) so we are in need of someone who is able to assess the squad early, identify what is required but also capable of leading a side who can remain competitive. It’s a messy job and unless someone is eyeing up a potential risk with a pay off (which we probably can’t afford) then we have slim pickings, which given this clubs ability to scout for a manager - it’s likely to be even slimmer and likely to be someone who will need fit any of the criteria’s listed above
-
We’re not the worst of propositions to a potential manager but it’s also about finding the right manager We’re a club in turmoil, little to no money to spend to invest in a side that needs investing into - or atleast for you to bring in the players that you’d like to create your own identity. Point deductions/transfer embargo’s lingering Yes the training ground is a huge selling point but we’re slowly starting to fall behind with more clubs starting to improve their training facilities knowing this is now required Then there is also the issues of how much time would someone be given if appointed, if we was to sack MC it would be 4 managerial appointments within 18 months and then as fans we also have the dread of trusting this board would find the right appointment and give them the tools and time to rebuild Theres no doubt were a mess and most managers will be well aware of our situation, if they are up and coming there’s every possibility that they will not be wanting to take that risk atleast this season and tarnish their own reputation for a club who at this current point, could be in a relegation scrap
-
Why? They’ve served their time with the club. Any after now just feels like an afterthought. Man City have it bang on with this, players like Kompany, Aguero, KDB who have helped shape the club have got their recognition once they’ve left. Wes has also been retired for about 5 years now too.
-
Kasper, Wes, Vardy… here from the start of one of the clubs greatest eras and all just left with very little acknowledgement. No statue, stand or even anything like a pitch at the training ground to help keep their legacy around the club.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, there is a lot of things down the years that have probably been a risk that has paid off in King Powers favour, a lot of those risks are no longer working and they are getting exposed for their lack of football management. Does anyone know if we still get blessings from monks and gold trimmings/flags around the club?

Not made as big as a contribution so far as he did last time in the championship but that was always a possibility after having a serious injury Feel for him as the standard of players around him has dropped, teams set up to nullify him and he gets little support around him. He is predictable with what he wants to do which he needs to work on but can be lethal cutting in and smashing it with that left foot, still a young lad so hopefully learns how to play in these situations and become more effective Don’t mind him showing a bit of passion, clearly frustrated and that’s shown with his reactions with MC after games. Be optimistic but also recognise how fans will be frustrated, I get it he can’t dig out players/give too much away what’s happening behind the scenes but can easily say results haven’t been good enough and I think fans would be on side a lot more rather than seeming out of touch with where we are currently

Our slow slow slow play in attack...

Can’t even say it’s because teams are dropping of us which makes it more difficult to be direct/space in behind. Teams know how poor we are in possession playing out from defence, press us aggressively and win the ball in dangerous areas We’ve been getting hit on the break for 5-6 years now and haven’t learnt our lessons. Until we have a new backline nothing will change, unfortunately I have zero trust or hope that we’ll recruit the right players either at this point too when we do finally get rid -

Wilder has tactically destroyed MC today with the pressing, set pieces and in an attacking transition The quality of our play is sooooo poor, can’t string passes together and can’t look after the ball giving it away too cheaply but the standout is, Utd players have probably ran double the distance as us! We might be lacking in obvious quality but the fact that we’re playing another team who grafts more than us is an obvious difference. Yes MC has a responsibility to motivate the players but how many managers has this group of players gone through now? Ashamed they wear our club badge -
Commentators just said everyone is leaving to get a coffee early for HT 🤣
