Portsmouth have us and Birmingham at home and Stoke away who are also poor. They have to play the top 3 teams but one of them games is a game in hand anyway.
-
They're going down. It will be Peterborough or Burton. Fighting it out to be the Midlands 10th best club (Peterborough is more anglia I concede).
-
To be fair, Daka puts his penalty away at watford and Thomas puts his header in a yard out at Stoke and he has 3 wins and 3 draws out of 8. Fine margins that he couldnt control (albeit his decision to have Daka on penalties I concede).

If this was us, some of our lot would have missed the calvert lewin goal in the 75th minute never mind the stoppage time comeback.

Don't particularly like southampton either. Boring club with a boring history. But to think how rampant they've been recently, and the fact that we finished above them last season shines even more of a light on how utterly pathetic we have been this season.

Okolis red card against Charlton was on the half way line

I honestly think we can get out of the bottom

We need at least 3 wins with one of them being Portsmouth away. Portsmouth have 2 very winnable games in their last 2 with Stoke away and Birmingham at home. Add oxford at home in to that and we require snookers in my opinion if we draw at fratton park. That's even if we beat Sheffield Wednesday. 3 in form teams at home in Swansea, Millwall and Hull and I can't see more than 1-2 points in these games. -
100% red card. He bottled it as refs often do in this division.
-
Brendan Rodgers' PR team. He needs an army of them on the payroll to try to polish his ever replicating turds.

Points deduction FC

They'll probably push Sheff Wed, Bolton and maybe Peterborough as they're fairly local (albeit tinpot).
-
If we do go down it will be interesting to see what they try to sell as category A games. They're all category Z in my eyes.
-
£40 million outlay for one good game though essentially.
-
4 out of the 19 were in one game that we didnt even help us get out of the group stage. He must have about 9 league goals for us in 5 seasons. I remember him scoring against Cheltenham in the cup this season.
-
If I remember right, it was similar to the peter canero miss away at Leeds in a relegation six pointer in 2004 in which we as usual came out second best in. Another late goal conceded after coming back from 2 nil down.
-
Trouble is you can see Portsmouth going to Stoke last game and winning. Its almost a banker in my eyes. I think they'll beat oxford at home. We have to avoid defeat at the very worst. Probably need to win.
-
I dont get this rhetoric that gets banded about that we have ruined him. How? He has been handed world class training facilities and one of the world's best strikers over the last 10 years to learn from. The last few years were his time to step up and show and implement what he had learnt from Vardy and he failed.
-
It all adds up. To state the obvious, if we go down by a point, then some could point to the missed penalty as why we went down. Others will point to the horrendous financial mismanagement and the resulting 6 point deduction. Even so, it was a costly miss and he doesn't exactly have much credit in the bank, in the light of his largely abhorrent output over the last half a decade.
-
Ask yourself if we would have come from behind if we played Millwall when they were down to 10.
-
Blackburn have recently won at QPR and Millwall. West Brom have won 2 in a row. Both have better strikers than us also.
-
They were there for the taking. They were very poor. 2 points dropped again.
-
72% penalty conversion rate then after today. Personally think a striker should be better than that. As another poster said, he doesn't striker the ball well enough. I'd rather a more confident Jordan James take it.
-
Utterly pathetic. Knew he would miss. We have the 2 worst strikers in the division.
-
At least if we lose this game, eventually get relegated and go in to administration then Brendan Rodgers can use his Saudi money to return as owner...every cloud.
