  1. We really need to be closer to Europe and further from the US but obviously quite a bit chunk of the country don't agree with that. The US voting trump twice and his actions over tariffs, NATO and Europe really should mean us moving away from being their poodle.
  2. Mate, it's Xmas, not hell. Pour yourself another drink and enjoy sitting in the corner.
  3. Really good performance. Okay second half Derby were on top but even then we really tried to defend, won challenges, made blocks That's more like it lads
  4. If you say so Tommy
  5. Need some fresh legs on
  6. Well. THAT is how to get your fans behind you. Effort, excitement, trying to score at all times. Fantastic.
  7. He's been superb today
  8. Honourable mention to Luke Thomas for suddenly being a fantastic crosser of the ball
  9. E i e i e i o!
  10. Barely got touched, let's be honest
  11. Even the way we're whipping the ball in from dead balls is more meaningful
  12. We're actually having a proper go. Running, tackling, effort!!!
  13. Lovely finish again
  14. Was just thinking we're struggling to get out and Ayew is on the edge of his own area.... And then that happens! Great finish tbf
  15. Tbh I'm not sure I particularly disagree with her. It's quite amusing watching her call out our fans and them have a collective hissy fit. We do have a large group of fans who decide a player isn't trying, or is arrogant etc, with zero actual knowledge of that person, and then proceed to rip them to pieces. Faes coming on to a chorus of boos at the start of the season was one of the most disgraceful acts of 'support' I've ever seen.
  16. The word soccer also comes from Britain to describe it though
  17. At the same time, reform is polling at around 25% at a time when both the normal parties are struggling to engage their supporters. Doesn't really scream future winners to me.
  18. Snowman and it's follow up always for the win. C4 looks the best to me. Don't really watch much Xmas TV though, it's a bit defunct now we all watch Netflix series.
  19. I lived there until recently when I moved to where my name suggests now. So I've lived there for over 40 years. I don't disagree re homeless etc, I just think that's a wider society problem. Just on what the city has in a pretty crappy economy that's lasted for quite a few years now, I think what there is, is better than what there was. Loads more food choices
  20. Not looking to be argumentative but I think that's such nonsense. There's no clubs now. Music is crap now. Nobody goes out. But they aren't just Leicester issues. The city itself has gone 1/3rd of the way to knocking down all the crap that needed knocking down in the 80s.
  21. Why did you have that opinion? Every city is struggling with lack of football these days as your average person has less spending power than a few years ago. There's been huge improvements in Leicester over the last decade or two, highcross, cathedral quarter, market is improving, jubilee Square, curve and the bars opposite.... Loads better. Admittedly gallowtree gate has gone downhill but that's just because things have moved up the road. Haymarket should have been knocked down in the 90s.
  22. That is awful. Modern buildings are in general utterly terrible, with a few exceptions (I quite like the circular tower thing not far from this)
  23. If I could see any sort of gameplan I'd probably agree but I have slowly come to round to the fact both the players and manager are crap.
  24. We haven't got the full backs for Sunday league football
