  1. Would be happy to never see him in a Leicester shirt again.
  2. I get the frustration that some of you are feeling, but I can't help but feel like a lot of the noise about Marti not being a good fit or being out of his depth is knee jerk at best. Minus the goal that West Brom got on the counter we looked the better side through all phases of the game. Overall I thought our play on the ball was fluid and a lot better than it was last season, we are just missing that clinical edge in the final third. I loved that Marti was willing to change things up in the second half by changing his tactics to try to open up the game more for us to equalize. Yes, it produced a much more open game, but I like his flexibility and willingness to have a Plan B option. So many fans complained that Enzo never had a plan B. Here's my question for the cynics and grouchy grumblers on this forum; if not Marti, who would you realistically want right now? Let's not forget that Gary O'Neil was a name being thrown around in the summer.
  3. Well said. I’d love to know what some fans expected? The club did the most pragmatic thing it could do: trim the squad for Marti, offload dead weight high salary earners and bring in players on loan that are good value for money. I think there is a huge disconnect for the critics who don’t understand how this club is positioned in the transfer market to operate.
  4. Honestly not bothered with him going. We're only talking about him because he's a flair player, but if we look at his stats he's nothing special. Its better for us to cut the losses here, get him off our books for PSR and open up some salary space in the budget for a late addition (if one is in the works) or for January. Do we think he was really going to knuckle down after wanting out and magically change into a proven goal machine and leader in the changing room? He certainly wasn't those things before. Let's see how he acts when Stuttgart finish mid to bottom table in the Bundesliga this year like they most often do.
  5. I could see this happening. Tottenham picked him up as a free agent from Shakhtar in 2023 hoping to either find a diamond in the rough or a player they could resell and make a profit off of. Ange didn't rate him and neither does Thomas Frank. His stats were great with Leeds, but they look set on going for Dilane Bakwa from Strasbourg. I suspect he would be available to us for around 10-12 million euros which fits our budget. Tottenham clearly don't want him around, and any sale would be pure profit for them, so I don't see Daniel Levy making it too difficult for us to get his signature. His goal contributions would be a big help to us. Its a yes for me!
  6. First post here, but I had to weigh in. This might be an unpopular hot take, but putting aside how visually impressive BEK is, his performance stats suggest this deal favors us more than Palace. Last season, Eze scored 12 goals and had 8 assists across all competitions—20 goal contributions in total. BEK, on the other hand, managed just 3 goals and 4 assists—7 goal contributions. He’s undeniably talented, but he currently lacks that clinical edge (see the penalty he missed against Huddersfield). Could he develop into a more lethal player? Possibly. But Leicester have both a goal problem and a budget problem. For context, Vardy scored 18 goals for us the last time we were in the Championship. Based on past performance, I’m not confident BEK can deliver that output on his own. Sure, he might have a breakout season—but that’s a big “if.” We all know Daka isn’t a reliable goal threat, Ayew averages only a handful per season, and even Fatawu isn’t a goal machine. What we need are goal scorers—plural. I’d support selling BEK if we reinvest in one or two players capable of double-digit goal contributions. That would be the smart move given the uncertainty around where our goals will come from this season.
