  1. Anyone else thought about starting a rumour on X that Aiyawatt has been bad mouthing Elon Musk...
  2. The unfettered mismanagement of the club is appalling really. Made worse by the fact no one is held accountable and the owner cba
  3. I had a guided tour of Seagrave back in Brendan's days. It is an incredible facility. Was shown around by John Ledwidge who has since moved on to Man City (nice guy despite being a Cov fan). Told me a story how Maddison borrowed LCFC staff to makeover his garden and then took ages settling their wages.
  4. You'd like to believe the club were upfront with MC during the final stages of the recruitment process (?) He's likely been told there's no money to spend and that we'd be cautiously dabbling in the loan market whilst actively looking to move players on in the window(s). Because of this he'd need to continue the work started by his predecessor and promote youth into the first team. There's a potentially significant points deduction incoming but there's a minimum expectation that he maintains championship status and he'd need to achieve this without criticising or complaining. Personally I'd say the standard in the championship is so poor we should be fairing much better than we are. This squad is not exactly bereft of talent and he should be getting a much better tune out of them. BUT, the current rate of points accumulation is sufficient to withstand a 9 point deduction so I suspect things will need to get a lot worse before the club entertains the idea and expense of replacing MC.
  5. Irritates me when certain section of the fanbase churn out the old "we always were a yo-yo club" line with the condescending claim that younger supporters are just spoiled by, let's face it, some pretty outrageous successes over the last 10 years. I have the feeling some are almost comforted, or at least too ready to accept, a return to the days of yore, willing to overlook the utterly shambolic stewardship of the club that has overseen such an incredible drop off and wasted an opportunity to cement our place somewhere close to the top of the football pyramid. I for one don't care much for PL football. It's boring. But not having sustained access to it's riches doesn't bode well for the future. I fear the writing is very much on the wall, which is all we seem to have in light of the deafening silence from the club.
  6. That interim MD hire is working out as well as most predicted then? Horrible way to treat your employees, most of whom will have made plans based on a promise broken at the 11th hour. An absolute PR disaster for the club too with the fanbase now fearing we're on the verge of doing a Wednesday. What a shambles!
  7. I know lots asking but any spares for this (ideally 2)? Can collect on the day, or before if you're in London.
  8. tickets arrived today
  9. Those prices, wow Went there twice 23/24 and, I might be wrong, but don't remember them being that steep? As others have said, it's a pretty sanitized experience these days. Hopefully reaches members, never seem to have any luck in the ballot.
  10. This one likely to reach members at 5pm?
  11. gerrimgone so we can get some more keepers in
  12. is he capable of taking goal kicks and keeping them in play?
  13. If Rudkin gets Forest to pay >£10m for VK then.... nah still a cnt
  14. Might be seen as good business but sad to see Kasey go. From ball boy to first team player who played his part in the title win under Enzo. He loves the club and and always gives 100%. I'm sure he and his family would have been a little hurt reading all the 'get rid' comments on social media. Just hope the club can pull out a decent signing before the end of the window. This one will hurt if all it does is help balance the books and pay the big wages of others we would sooner see out the door.
