It's a fair argument, I get it. For the sake balance, he's had to deal with the death of his dad and inheriting his family's entire business empire in one fell swoop, AND THEN within a year or so of that, had to deal with an unprecedented global pandemic that specifically affected his dad's longstanding business model and literally wiped out two thirds of his family's finances. I'm not saying he's not culpable and that he shouldn't shoulder a lot of responsbility for what's happened; I think he had fair reasons to expect Susan, Rudkin and Capper - some of whom experts in this field - to be able to deal with it better than they have. Not forgetting the Premier League and EFL are two unrelentingly corrupt organisations who imposed this mess on them in the first place. I think Top will learn from this and start to emulate his dad's ruthlessness.

I don't want to see a single pink pamphlet borrowed from Everton fans at this game. I don't know if it's too late to get permission to do a tifo @Union FS or to do one but I just want to see everyone wearing blue or with scarves, anything blue, to show full support for the club on and off the pitch. This is as much a "Let Slip The Dogs of War" moment than vs Sevilla.

The statements made clear that: “In reaching the settlement, the EFL acknowledges that the club did not make any deliberate attempt to infringe the rules or to deceive and that the dispute arose out of genuine differences of interpretation of the rules between the parties.” Absolved us of any wrongdoing AND conceded that their rules were not strong enough. Pretty much what happened in the ruling last week. AND I sincerely suspect could be the outcome of this one. Bookmark this.

Just to be absolutely clear, I have absolutely no confidence in any refereeing performance in the remaining 9 games.

Rick Parry colluded with Liverpool and Manchester United to try and set up Project Big Picture. He is also a former Liverpool CEO and the founding Premier League CEO. And people wonder why so little money filters down to the EFL. The game is being operated by brazen cheats.

The EFL literally released a statement admitting that they had broken their own rules in pursuing us. The club seem confident that the EFL don’t even have the jurisdiction to enforce a transfer embargo on us.

The Premier League are trying to suggest we gained a sporting advantage in a season we were literally relegated after we harmed ourselves in order to stick to their rules. The EFL have already admitted in writing that they acted outside of their rules and jurisdiction in trying to punish us. We are not a poor club. We don’t have a despotic owner. We are being actively pursued by two corrupt leagues, demonstrably in the pocket of the “big six” clubs, because we had the disgusting temerity to win their league without their consent. Tear it down.

The EFL LITERALLY ADMITTED they had acted outside of their rules and jurisdiction a couple of weeks ago. The club are culpable for a lot but we’re being pursued by two demonstrably corrupt leagues at the same time. Burn it all down.

I’m kind of hoping, if they deduct us points for gaining a sporting advantage in a season we were relegated, that we just say **** IT this summer and spend £300m on players. Take the gloves off, start competing like Man City and Chelsea. Let’s just ****ing cheat.

I appreciate this. But you need to be on top of the whole conversation. The club are culpable for a lot of things, yes, but it is also absolutely clear, as I have repeatedly articulated, that the club has been trying to operate within corrupt system that is now directly targeting us. We’re being told we gained an unfair advantage in a season we deliberately weakened our squad to try and comply with PSR, which led to our relegation. By league that has no jurisdiction over us. And in a league that literally admitted a fortnight ago that they acted outside of their jurisdiction in trying to pursue us. You need to be putting across the argument that the Premier League and EFL’s actions are corrupt, and are directly harming the football club, its fans and the wider Leicester/Leicestershire community. That their actions in punishing our ambition, which we were achieving fairly, have cost local economy multiple millions in potential earnings through our regular European football and stadium campus expansion.

Fans need to be more active on this, absolutely. But we're a truly disorganised bunch. That's why I keep tagging @Foxes_Trust in these sorts of posts, because this is the exact thing they should be doing.
