  1. We should get that added to the Oxford dictionary. Trundle - verb To browse through a bargain bin of media "I just had a Trundle through Music Magpies eBay page and ordered The Inbetweeners movie for 50p"
  2. KDH and Justin have been linking up well with him as well, that whole flank is looking productive today.
  3. Top gangling by jannick
  4. Poor Liverpool, hard done by by the refs again. Better write in about how they are being screwed in over and demand an apology and a replay and .... oh wait.
  5. There must be a middle ground that can enable fans to watch their team play in the UK legally on TV on a Saturday afternoon, but also protect clubs further down the league pyramid. So I propose - blackout stays, but only for big 6 matches. People who follow proper football clubs who aren't glory hunting norrises can watch their team. Man Utd "fans" who grew up in the 90s have to get in the bin or leave the house to go and watch a proper football team and stop being a bunch of sheep if they want to wtach a game on Saturday.
  6. Only a matter of time until Flair quotes start getting recycled into low effort Leicester mercury articles now. Looking forward to seeing a headline of: "Spaghetti hoops" - podcast star sends Leicester transfer message.
  7. I have a similar problem. Deku Deals does not help with this - helps you to not buy stuff when its not on sale, but when that box shows up saying "Lowest Price Ever", it doesn't half tempt you to add it to your library...
  8. When talking about Rudkin deserving "Credit" for winning the Prem, it's worth remembering he didn't become Director of Football until half way through the Great Escape season. So the managerial appointment of Pearson and his backroom staff, and the signings of: Schmeichel Morgan Simpson Drinkwater Albrighton Mahrez Vardy Ulloa Wasyl All pre-date his time in the DoF hotseat. In the interest of balance, Ranieri Huth Kramaric Okazaki Fuchs Kante Gray Amartey Nathan Dyer Inler YB29 all arrived during his tenure
  9. Got a pass bought for this now, and pre-match chitchat is working now. Guess I've accidentally already done my prep for Saturday as well ha.
  10. I bought an international pass, and when I click on the Foxes hub section of my account, it says I have a pass ... for the Stoke Game. FML
  11. Next step for him is to start posting on OwlsTalk using Tapatalk on his Iphone. Could be their very own Face of Kinder thread, exciting times.
  12. Has everyone using this from abroad been a full time overseas supporter, or can you use it easily enough if you are UK based but away on a holiday etc? I'm off on a work trip abroad soon, so I'm going to miss a couple of games, so if this has a decent chance of working I'll try using it if possible - my LCFC.com account has obviously got a UK address associated with it.
  13. There's a new model of the series S coming thats going to have 1tb of storage instead of the originals 500gb, so that might be worth looking into, as the storage can get full pretty quickly.
  14. If you asked me to name a good British ref, I'd definitely struggle. Years ago you might have said Michael Oliver, but he went downhill massively, full-on big 6 stooge thse days. Clattenberg was alright towards the end, when he stopped giving a f00k about giving stuff against big teams. Perhaps the only good ones are the ones on the prem list that you can neither remember their names, or know what they look like, as the fact you can't recognise them is because you've never seen them drop repeated clangers in a game.
  15. Imagine being a mindless clown that follows the leading hyper capitalist footballing brand (and main member of a cartel that tried to destroy an entire sport and put thousands of people out of work across Europe solely to increase profits) because they win the most and have loads of money and because the people at Sky Sports told you to, or because you grew up in the 80s in (insert name of footballing backwater that almost certainly wasn't Liverpool) but were a pathetic little worm who needed to cling to the winningest brand to give you a semblence of identity. A slavish slave to the church of profits, big business and global late stage capitalism. Sounds like a pretty Tory club and fanbase to me.
  16. Clear yellow foul on Akgun and they got away with it again.
  17. Big 6 team getting a free ride from officials, as per usual.
  18. Says it all that on top of getting a larger slice of TV revenues, and cocking about with the champions league format to give them a better chance of getting in, easier time progressing when in it due to historic seeding going back to the year dot plus larger TV revenue again, you've got clubs like Man United who have won nothing for ages (in fact, we've won the league, fa cup and charity shield more recently than they have) signing a 900 million pound ish shirt deal this summer. Big companies fall over themselves to fork over hundreds of millions to the most underachieving club in the world, solely so they can market themselves to a worldwide army of glory hunting nobhead social media "fans". Normal clubs can't compete with that, Man United can keep failing in the transfer market forever, then just lob another billion at their shit midfield and still have it consist of Fred and Mctominay but keep on scraping into Europe off the back of a load of dodgy VAR decisions and dumb luck.
  19. Yeah, I've had a mare there, forgot that corners are like Goal kicks and throw ins in that there is no offside direct from them. But the point about backwards passes stands, you can be offside from a backwards pass. It's just that in most circumstances, to get the ball to someone in an offside position, you'd have to pass forwards. Its only in the rare cases where they are running backwards where it can crop up.
  20. Since we've been having discussions about offside, the ball not having to be played forwards and so on, I remembered that odd goal Wolves had ruled out against us a few years back after mucking up a short corner and playing a backwards pass to the taker who had been retreating from an offside position. Then something about it being a corner reminded me of the Cov goal scored against us, as I recall the goalscorers starting position being in the goal, so I took another look. Lo and behold: Because of Hermansen and Faes positions being forward, the only thing that could have kept the Cov scorer onside was the position of the ball. And if Hamer did the usual corner taker thing of sticking it forward a bit and right on the edge of the Quadrant, then Macfazdean is actually offside. I wonder if a VAR would have actually noticed? Linos probably wouldn't even think to check most of the time, as 90% of keepers are starting on the line and there is often a defender on a post as well, so the chances of someone being in an offside position from a corner are tiny.
  21. Massive header clear by Vestergaard to start the move. Had an excellent game tonight, as has Doyle.
  22. Ref just making stuff up now
  23. Hope Hamza still has 100% Ball Retention after that block
  24. That cheddar has shown great maturity, which we've needed, as a lot of our cheese is inexperienced, we've got a very young plate out there on the dining table trying to compete with some big meals, proper meals. When I first came to this kitchen, people were glad if they got fed at all.
  25. Tbqh this sounds like the kind of verbiage Brendan Rodgers would use to describe a bog standard quiche Lorraine.
