I think that's really harsh

Then I retract the first 5 words of my post

If that's a foul then you may as well blow the whistle for a free kick to the defending side every time a corner is dumped in the box

Brazil Serie A title fight looks tasty, 4 games left and the top 6 separated by 5pts

Dating apps. They're free in the same way Tesco is free, until you get to the exit and told to pay for what was the purpose of your visit

I'm certain there were no shots of the crowd during the race? Bit odd

The second he gets ahead of Perez, he wants to work as a team
-
It was already the case anyway but that penalty just sets the precedent, and certainly must give ideas in Monaco for example to just cut the chicane and take the 5 second hit if you're below your true position

The thing that has stood out most to me this weekend is remember back on Hamilton calling out countries like Saudi Arabia for their human rights record, and his general push on diversity/inclusion etc. I recall a popular response telling him to keep quiet, don't mix with politics with sport, and above all, if he cares that much then how about boycott the race? (This was all at the same time Vettel started following in his footsteps to which the same people didn't bat their negative eyelids) Verstappen speaks out about a race he doesn't like and he's portrayed as a hero. He is literally in a position to boycott the race if he really wanted to. Pity he wasn't so outspoken about the shitshow that was Abu Dhabi 2021. Still, to quote his slur at Toto Wolff, "I wouldn't expect anything else from him"

I don't think many people look up to The Year Of The Fox etc for his words to have much of an effect

Furthermore, his comments on the fans being turned away from FP2 "if I was a fan, I'd tear Vegas down". Be interesting to actually see that interview to see if there was an ounce of cheek to it, but for what is the next (if not current) face of F1 to say something as irresponsible as that... What an utter turd. What happened to those fans is ridiculous but for someone in his position of authority (particularly with his very impressionable fanbase), I'd say his team must be distancing themselves from his comments but the entirety of Red Bull is full of lunatics tbh If he's been on one all week as he knows the conditions etc means he won't rock up knowing they'll run away with it for just the second time in 21 races, I can't wait until the day they fall back in the pecking order, à la Mercedes. I'd say Hamilton has dealt with that generally well, in public anyway. The outbursts of Verstappen will be absolute gold

So on a weekend one driver takes a grid penalty because the track wasn't fit for purpose, another driver will get away scot-free despite admitting to deliberately obstructing (to put it politely) another driver who, incidentally, didn't make it out of that session. Since Singapore it's became increasingly clear he is immune from penalties Literally the same guy who talked himself out of a pole position years ago in a press conference for almost bragging about not slowing for yellow flags at Mexico. The precedent is there, though clearly so is the $$$ to the FIA from Red Bull, who's name incidentally lines the walls of the track 🫣

Can imagine some of you are probably a bit miffed we've suddenly scored a couple

I swear this thread is always populated by more people who say they can't/don't watch England anymore than those who are willing/do

If Vardy did that there's no way you lot would be saying it's not a penalty. Not having it

Too bad I moved earlier this year away from a main road
-
I adopted a cat a few years ago but lived on a main road at the time and ideally wanted an indoor cat because of it. But I didn't want to imprison a cat inside for reasons that suit myself. So I adopted a cat that has a condition meaning he has to be kept inside and away from other cats. Win win

Maybe he was just good for his level by my striker in 2 seasons inIsrael bagged about 70 goals meanwhile I've seen this doing the rounds on social media

Most commentators are the same really. His are generally decent but yeah, scripted commentary does urk me

The ball was in play for 4, maybe 5 of those 8 mins

Watching a game with Carragher on commentary is like watching fanzone *not a compliment

From one Umm to another, left Hapoel Umm El Fahm after two seasons and joined Umraniyespor in the 2nd tier of Turkey. Missed out on UECL qualifiers by 1pt in the Fahm's first season in the top flight. Left at the end of my contract and was rejected from a host of clubs including Rizespor (who would have been ideal), Sigma Olomouc, and a couple more Czech/Turkish clubs. Original aim was to start low in Israel, low/mid table in Czechia then onto a Levski/CSKA level Bulgarian side, back to Israel with a top club and compete in Europe before trying to conquer Europe with one of the Turkish top 3.

I'll start to panic if we drop points against Watford

Would be quite cool actually if it was factored into the game when you sign players like that where the fanbase turn against you/the club and lose sponsors etc. Either sack him off or ride it out
