  1. I’m looking forward to heads rolling
  2. Had it on my Alexa in the background and could hear the Barmy Army going nonstop. Slowly woke up and thought it must be going well for us with all the singing. But no. It’s just the Barmy Army being happy clappers again rather than giving the ECB and team a bit of stick Baz, take your ball and **** off home
  3. I see where you’re coming from. I think he’s more suited to Villa though
  4. Hey well at least I know enough to know it didn’t go to trial 🙃
  5. I strongly disagree. In the Series so far the Aussies have dug in as they always do and played Test Cricket, or at least tried to
  6. This was an unofficial thing back in 2007 and it was great fun and quite rowdy Obviously the fun police (LCFC) soon put a stop to it
  7. It’ll be too much for our plebs slogging it around anyhow
  8. I know- I’ve had a few lessons that have completely changed the swing again. I’ve found the change easy to deal with on the range from the get go, but transferring that onto the course has been tough. I’ve probably had 2/3 months of regular golf not knowing where each shot is going to end up The pro likened it to learning to speak a foreign language fluently. Those who are 100% fluent have practised so much that they don’t need to think about the words coming out of their mouth- it’s just happens. Hopefully now after months of abysmal golf, I’m at that stage again. Til the next lesson 😩
  9. I don’t know, because in my eyes, I’d call the second example you gave ‘justified rage’
  10. Yet ‘rage’ was a proven factor This is my whole point really
  11. Isn’t golf daft Ive had 3 weeks off it due to being away. Came back, absolutely creamed a basket of 50 balls on the range, and 2 days later went and golfed. For the first time since my last batch of lessons, I had not a single swing thought throughout the round. Front 9 was fairly bad, scoring only 12 points (off 90% handicap in fairness) but at no point did I feel I was swinging badly, I just wasn’t holing the putts Back 9 I came back in +3 par, 22 points- off 90% handicap still Hoping and praying these zero swing thoughts carry on long term now. So bloody refreshing knowing I can actually golf now and again
  12. Which to me, makes it far more complex than the judge deciding it was ‘rage’ I don’t know the ins and outs but like @Paninistickers says, his counsel have missed a trick by not playing some sort of mental health card- real or imagined.
  13. This is it. I mean, I see red, we all do don’t we? I scare myself with my temper at times 😂 But at no point would I drive through people in a rage, and then reverse, and then go forward again and for a sustained amount of time? Rage tends to be a very short occurance doesn’t it? You see panicked people do all sorts of knee jerk, stupid reactionary and completely irrational things though, all the time. The more irrational these things are, the less in control of their mind I think people are
  14. Hoping someone plants a load of drugs in his suitcase and he gets stoned to death
  15. I’ve got mixed feelings about it all. Obviously what happened was frightening and horrendous. (Shouldn’t need to be said, but on here sometimes the obvious needs to get stated) But I always think lots of convictions, or at least the judges summarisations are to be taken with a pinch of salt. The prosecution suggested he got angry and drove in a fit of rage. As soon as he pleads guilty or someone is found guilty, that suggestion somehow becomes fact? How does the prosecution or the judge know for exact certainty it was only rage. Not panic, or a trigger from his combat days? How does a defendant prove it was partly down to panic? How would anyone prove it was partly down to panic? Just because he started swearing as he was driving at them proves nothing really. I was shocked at the 21 year sentence anyhow. Whether that’s because most sentences are too soft and this is the new norm or whether I think he should have got less, I honestly don’t know.
  16. From a Forest fans perspective what exactly has he done wrong? Employed Ange, which was the quickly and correctly rectified, potentially not just salvaging their PL status but also potentially their entire season?
  17. When did I use religion in my reasons for him not winning sorry? What a very strange remark, made only to garner a couple of likes from a couple of weirdos. Well done 👏🏼
  18. You spelt ‘striker’ wrong.
  19. Why are Lime Scooters a proper thing throughout the UK? It’s ridiculous really. All this push for going green and you’ve got all these cities throughout the world that have completely embraced them and they work a treat. Typical of the UK really
  20. It won GOTS didn’t it? So I know I’m in the minority. I know how hard it is to do. But it still didn’t make me go ‘wow’
  21. If they find out our accounts, they’ll have to lower their prices 200% to make the sale
  22. All my favourite goals are ones that have had substantial airtime, or rattled in off the woodwork or have been an absolute missile That Bruma one a couple of pages back- just doesn’t do it for me at all either
