Forest Hill are in the mud again. Sent an email out today asking for investors willing to put in £5k minimum (no maximum) assuring each investor a 12% return paid back within 12months, preferably to be investing as soon 1st Dec. They’re unable to get a bank loan it seems and blame Covid for its issues. This is whilst spending £2m on a driving range, a dining hall and crazy golf. They have a loan/mortgage of £6m and have £6k in the bank. If I was to come along and offer them £0.5m then I’d be expecting £60k interest within 12 months. How they paying that back when they’ve got £6k in the kitty? Makes me wonder if Aiyawatt has anything to do with the club 😂 I feel sorry for the remaining members there, who had their fees upped to match far superior places like Longcliffe or Rothley with absolutely nowhere near the standard of those two mentioned. I feel nothing but derision for the owners who’ve let this place absolutely crumble.
