Just remembered what happened yesterday- Been a member at my course coming up to 5 years now It was only yesterday morning did I realise that the golf balls they put on a little outdoor table by the pro shop are NOT balls that golfers have found on the course but don’t want to use themselves I saw some on the table yesterday whilst checking the winter handicap table. Saw a Srixon AD333 which is what I’m using. So I took it thinking how weird it was someone wouldn’t want to use it. Marked it up with my initials, put it in my trolley It was only a few minutes later waiting around the first tee that it dawned on me they might’ve been for the club draw old boys playing behind us As it was permanent marker, I couldn’t wipe my initials off the ball in order to slyly return it 😂 So I kept it 😩 Saw them looking for it under the table as we were marching down the first hole
