I really struggle to understand why anyone cares what nationality anyone is when we're all human beings with the same needs, worries, desires and fears as anyone else. It's how you deal with all these things that matters, not where you're from. Someone from Senegal or Bolivia or Cambodia is as likely to make a commendable attempt at living their best life as someone from the UK. No better; no worse. People often (correctly) go on about how much war and division religion has brought to the world, but the concept of national identity is equally guilty (especially when you tie it into some kind of divine right)! As two wise men once said, "be excellent to each other".

I know. I'm always amazed at how little attention people pay to geography, especially UK geography. People go places with no idea where that is or how they got there

I'd imagine that most of the worlds population (given that is mostly people in developing and undeveloped countries with large populations who haven't travel far beyond their village or town), has no idea of foreign countries beyond their immediate neighbours.

What's to stop you holding up a picture of someone else in front of your webcam? I don't get it. Also, these things have age verification on delivery, we're supposed to not deliver unless the person recieving looks over 25. Stupidly, if they're not in, we're supposed to leave with neighbour, who might be over 25... who then passes it on to kid next door Which is why I never leave with neighbour, but which potentially could get me in trouble for not following delivery protocol. You also then get the problem of poorly paid, rushed, overworked delivery drivers (or those who just don't care) who might just leave it on the doorstep. I'm also not sure why a kid would order a knife online. There's plenty of knives in any household that are potentially lethal.

It's all very well, but you can't just get rid and create a vacuum. Someone has to be willing to take over. Who's that going to be? Can anyone seriously name someone? More to the point, can anyone guarantee they will be any better. Not saying different owners couldn't improve our situation, but it's not so simple as just getting rid of the incumbents.

Trump has said that murderers have not gotten jail sentences. Any truth in this? I mean, obviously people are found not guilty and there might be suspicion hanging over them, (which I think is what's going on in his jumbled self-justifying mind), but that's not the same. What he was saying alludes that "convicted" murderers have not received jail sentences. I'm only really mentioning it because the US is a bizarre country and this might actually have happened.
