Just watching Escape to the Country (or at least my wife is and I'm in the room) and the way people are critical of houses I could only dream of and aren't satisfied by any of the suggestions... Their never satisfied lifestyles must be awful. Being content with what you can comfortably maintain and afford goes a long way to a happy life. It's great to have something nicer, but there's no point killing yourself to get it.

Good morning all. Just a little tip to help you through the day. Don't watch adverts. These things are designed to make you feel inadequate, afraid and unwanted (unless you buy what they're advertising). Advertising (at least in it's modern form) is one of the greatest evils humankind has ever created. I should know, I used to work in it.

Unless someone, including any Interstellar beings, overcomes the restrictions of sub-lightspeed travel, we'll never know. Also, what if life does exist in other stellar systems, but humans are the most advanced. (I use the word advanced loosely). And if it's in a different galaxy, well meh.

The thing is Arsenal got all 6 pts from our two matches. If we hadn't beaten Spurs, then Spurs would've finished above Arsenal and the points we took off Man Utd and City would've put them much closer too. And giving all those points back, we'd still have won the title

Yes. The rumours that RVN was ready to walk as he'd been promised players brought in... well if there was any truth in it, then I'd say he's incredibly naive or at best, not done his research. Anyone with half a clue surely realises that more than a couple of signings would be unlikely. Even the big clubs don't do more than that usually. It seems some fans think that if you've identified a player you would like, it's just a case of paying the money and he's yours.

As you say, hopefully the bottom and you're on the way back up. These places are there for a reason, but take care of yourself.
