Yea, have to stay the combination of playing conservatively against non-league fodder (unchanged formation & tactics with 2 senior CDMs & CBs, as oppose to more attacking with Monga for Choudhury for example) and bringing on Ayew over Evans with nothing to play for shows all the hallmarks of the obstinate weaklings we've had our fill of before.

Aluko starts at the weekend. Evans & Monga should have been on at or just after half time.

Imagine having an expected goals of below 1 every game, whilst being bottom of the league in sprints and workrate and also being 3 defenders (& possibly a keeper) short of a competent defence. It's amazing we're not in the relegation spots before the points deduction to be honest. Only down to a few fluke moments of individual brilliance and one world class player (James).

I think it's just recency bias. This is exactly the level of football I remember from when I was in L1 during the seasons leading up to the League One season. We still have marginally better players, but they are even more poorly organised and managed than then.

Correct... but he didn't, so we don't. Up until this season he's had the opportunity to make the necessary changes that allow him to continue being the absentee owner he is, but he hasn't. He is entirely at fault at this point. If by some miracle we avoid relegation this season after the inevitable 9 point deduction then he may have 1 undeserved last chance to do the right thing this summer, but after that it is administration and years of turmoil.
