  1. whilst this is nothing concrete, if a local rag reporter is claiming him to be the leading candidate, then there has to be SOMETHING in it , I’d think.. Rohl has been repeatedly linked with the Foxes post and according to reporter Graeme Bailey, is the main candidate for the gig. https://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/sport/football/sheffield-wednesday-danny-rohl-leicester-city-5162273
  2. our financial issues are with PSR compliance, not actually being flat broke like Wednesday are. To my knowledge, we’ve never paid staff or players late, for example.
  3. I’d be very surprised if we are bringing in a manager whilst having to pay ANY compensation… unfortunately, there’s quite a few available for free.. wether we think they are good enough or not…
  4. Patrick Ageymang goal last night for the USA team… https://youtube.com/shorts/NRxJh7jphcw?si=75-GbFGmEDrTXYq5
  5. fair enough
  6. which truly was a farmers league. MLS is more low championship high league 1. I mean, one of Ageymang teammates at club level is Wildred Zaha… not really a farmers league level player. Funnily enough, Charlotte FC, their team, are one of the clubs that have put an offer in to Vardy..
  7. Vardy started in a ‘ farmers league’ Bout the same age too when he came to us. Bit older in fact. hes no Vardy… not many people are.. but he’s tailor made for the championship When you get players who play for average teams move to a better team and better players around them they often get better stats. That’s a fact too but I’d still dispute the fact that America over hypes their players more than we do. Just need a beating heart In England and you’re the next messiah.
  8. so you’ll know he scored 3 goals in his first4 games for the national team? Since his breakthrough . 4 in 8 appearances isn’t too shabby at all. besides, I don’t think the USA should be singled out for bigging up their young talent. Some on here…. Monga is the messiah and he’s not even started a game yet and he’s only 16. Every national inflates the reputation of their young stars.
  9. They’ve only gone and done it…
  10. About Vardy’s age then?
  11. he’s had absolutely terrible conditions to work under. He’s not been table topping with him because he’s had a transfer ban to deal with, budgets cuts from the owner and unable to bring any staff in. The miracle and wonder working is that they are not bottom by 25 points.
  12. Modern day Kevin Russel. Does great as a sub.
  13. I remember saying Carson is the sort of GK we would go for. But he’s almost 2 years older than Asmir so if it’s a choice between the two of them then this guy has to be the better option…
  14. I guess my point was more HIS assumption that he’s overrated. The only team who really takes about him over here are the Charlotte fans. I only hear other fans saying who is better than him and who should be playing ahead of him for the National team
  15. who says he’s overrated? Or are you just saying that because he’s American? How much do you actually know about him to make that assumption l?
  16. I might have mentioned him somewhere before
  17. Dyche would go for Patrick Ageymang Him and Hadji Wright from Coventry. Not only would we have the USA starting strikers, but both of them are 6ft 4. We’d be an aerial threat at set peices but Ageymang is a right unit. Plus he is RAPID and can dribble past players. Play target man or can trap, turn and burn.
  18. im done with this yo-yo’ing already. If we are going to do a reset and bring in the young guys, I’m half tempted to get rid of all three and put my hopes in Braybrooke
  19. To be fair some of my favorite memories of the last few years is watching Ndidi slowly be convinced by Maresca they he was a competent attacking midfielder and that bombing down the wing or running on to through balls into the box was a good idea…
  20. Jeffrey Schlupp had 50% of that equation. All though ‘unaware’ might be a better description than ‘ not inpacted’

    The Weather

You are all absolutely having a laugh if you think this is hot. that first summer I moved from Leicester to North Carolina I officially melted 3 times. It’s only because of the skilled Drs I was able to unmelt. On a side note, it’s due to be 37c here on Monday and is supped to ‘ feel like ‘ 41c because of the humidity.
  22. Evan Ferguson, anyone? ( not as daft as it may seem)
  23. he was idolized before he formed that team though wasn’t he? He was idolized before we won those 7 of the last 9 games. And before that, no one could have imagined how it would turn out, yet he was still idolized.
  24. Have they taken on a pack of wild dogs? Throttled an opposition player? Told a ref to ‘ go away’ when he interrupted a team discussion? Signed Mahrez and Vardy? it’s for reasons like that , that he’s idolized dare I say as much as he is his managerial skills..
  25. I see that Chris Wilder has just been sacked by Sheffield United…
