    Fair enough.
  3. I travel quite a bit with my job.. about 100 miles a day and already the roads are CRAZY BUSY in this area and it’s only 7:50am.
  4. So a medium of 80% see the economy as the most important. More important than anything else. Take out the Trump voters and that’s still about 70% of dems. That’s a little bit depressing.
  5. the sweet potato Hitler
  6. You’d think so wouldn’t you..
  7. well, this is the problem, I suppose. You can only assess the voting intentions of those you get to reach.
  8. im in North Carolina.
  9. Accessibility. also, 36 states are now requiring Voter ID to vote since the last election. This is a big increase since 2020 and this will apparently effect the Dems vote at the ballot more than the republicans..
  10. I hate to say this to you all, but I haven’t seen anything to suggest that there will be anything other than a comfortable win for Trump. From what I can work out the polls seem to be focusing on those that they can reach for polling- they are not able to reach the massive majority that Trump has in the rural areas. It looks like this may be giving some false polling numbers just like they did in 2016 and 2020- 2020 was much closer than the polling suggested it should have been. With it being much closer now, especially in the crucial states, it really does look like Trump will do well in the swing states. also, and this could be huge.. it looks like he may do a clean sweep of the senate and congress too. Crucially he is polling much higher amongst the black population than he did in 2020. i have never liked Trump and I probably never will. It’s all making me feel. Bit sick to be honest and I probably won’t be on here much if he wins because I won’t be able to keep away from this section and it will all make me quite upset and angry.
  11. What an attempt! Most pine boards broken with legs world record!!
  12. I think you missed my point. My point being that you think we would stay on the current path we are on and that energy independence would increase the speed of going down that path. I’m saying that you are assuming we will stay on our current trajectory. im saying there is no way of knowing that.
  13. So the only thing that is certain is the present . you *think* the future could be catastrophic going down a certain path. But you’re not sure. No one can be. We don’t know how the technicality we have can can change even in the next few years. i would put to you that that it could be a greater threat to mankind to make a ‘rogue’ nation so powerful that they think they can take their chances in a nuclear war. Money and financing them is the biggest obstacle for them doing rhat.
  14. I think it’s a bigger problem allowing the rise of another Hitler style authority. Whether that’s in Europe or anywhere else. What future are we preparing for if we allow that? Energy independence needs to happenn NOW.
  15. I think, under the umbrella of accepted the change that the future will bring, energy independence is a good thing. The way Russia has people too scared to go in too hard on sanctions/ punishment because of their dependence on the Russian contribution to the oil market would make energy independence a no brainer. there has to be a way we can safeguard the future and not neglect our duty to our fellow Europeans ( Ukrainians et all) for the next 40 years
  16. I don’t think the intention was for him to come to come in and be a nailed on starter. If he keeps doing what he’s doing.. maybe start a few away games then I will remember him as an excellent piece of business , for the situation we are in.
  17. sorry to be a a boblet but you don’t seem very happy to listen to other peoples opinions at all..
  18. I don’t disagree that Ipswich played well at times but have you seen the stats from the game? You had less possession, less shots and less shots on target. We were woeful at times, but make no mistake, you didn’t win because you were not very good. Two shots on target for a team playing at home is terrible, and if you don’t survive this season, you’ll have to point the finger at yourselves, no one else.
  19. So I still don’t think there are fans who have come to terms with the position we are in and the standard of what we can expect from the team. did we play badly? Yes. Were we outplayed by Ipswich? Yes. At times. I just feel like ANY point away from home this season has to be seen as a good thing. I have no issue with people clinging on to the memories of our title winning season. But we need to let go of the expectation of attaining that standard of play. At least for now. You’ll only burst a few blood vessels in frustration.
  20. Slippery bugger probably survives a few more weeks if we keep picking up away points..
  21. Chuffin Nora. Ayew the most dangerous player on the pitch!
