  1. well I don’t think they’ve helped themselves with regards to sending all the Labour staff to campaign for Harris. His ego will take that very personally and you can see why. I do know that The Americans share a lot of intelligence info with the UK with regards to terrorist attacks and foiling the plots. And there is an element of a protectionist relationship too. That alone should help them to form some sort of cooperative relationship even if not politically aligned. Look at Trump as that annoying person who’s on your school project team that you have to tolerate until the project is over ( 4 years), because he has an important part he’s doing.
  2. I asked her that if someone was interested, would she sell two lots of the 30 DVD sets instead of a 60 DVD bundle, and she said yes!
  3. I’m just frustrated, in case you couldn’t tell..
  4. it’s not even that they failed to stop them… the Dems did have quite a lead . Even in most of the swing states. They’ve thrown it away. All they had to do was stay on track..
  5. No one will remember the side that said they were right and didn’t get elected. Neither are they of any benefit to anyone. They have spent way too much time talking about how bad trump is and people feel betrayed and ignored because of it. They could have been smart. They could have been morally right AND electable and I feel that opportunity is slipping away. All they had to do was focus on themselves and communicated their own positions better instead of attacking Trump all the time. It has been theirs to lose. 4 more years of Trump.
  6. But there isn’t anything good to be only shouting from the soapbox how morally right you are. you can’t enact any of the right moral ‘wins’ if you don’t get elected. Besides, the Muslims in Detroit would say that their own personal concerns on foreign policy is a huge Moral concern- the treatment of the Palestinians in Gaza.
  7. it’s real politics, unfortunately.. I mean, they are electing a political leader and not a church leader..
  8. it appears there may have been a massive miscalculation by the Dems in so much as they have campaigned on taking the moral high ground and neglected policies such as the economy and foreign policies..
  9. muslim leaders( today) in Detroit have just come out and backed Trump. That’s huge. I think Dems only won Michigan by a tiny margin in 2020… a few thousand votes and there’s 300k Muslims in Detroit alone and that’s a potentially 600 k swing vote. : they feel betrayed by the Dems and the handling of the attack on Gaza. It’s a bit short sighted of them but because they think the Dem are tough on Gaza then they should imagine how Trump should handle the crisis as he’s Staunchly pro-Israeli. But still, that’s huge for Trump- official backing.
  10. to be fair, Maresca was a decent appointment..
  11. We need to stop Twerking in front of Potter. We’ve been after him twice now and he’s turned us down on both occasions. At what point does it become degrading to ourselves to keep going back?
  12. dont think it’s fair to compare stats of Vesty in the Champ with Okoli in the prem..
  13. at least Soyuncu played well when he started with us to justify the outcry…

it might be a tamer response than originally planned.. im hoping they have listened to sense and not struck any nuclear energy targets in Iran…
  15. sounds like a decent deal all round.
  16. Brave? there’s nothing brave about filling your team with negative players whilst leaving Fatawu on the bench most of the season
  17. He also dismissed the idea that some Dems are floating around about him being cognitively impaired like Joe Biden was. He said when you see him in person, you can see he’s not. He said he rambles on a bit, but then again he always has..
  18. So we are getting a bit of confidence now and all the defenders know each other so we should be able to go on the attack a bit more which surely opens the door for either Riccy P or fats starting? But it’s Cooper that’s our manager..
  19. Found this quite interesting.. From an Australian living in the United States..
  20. This is actually quality work..
  21. I remember when Grimsby Fisheries got done for tax evasion moons ago now. What was it.. early 90s I think? After I read about it in the mercury I went in and ordered and when I got my food, with my best Russ Abbott voice/ face I pointed at him and said “ make sure you write that down!” I thought it would be funny but he was not impressed.
  22. Totally get that they love him.. and so they should.. he’s transformed the club.. they were near the bottom when he took over and look at them now! But surely he has to win something before he’s described as one of the greatest….
  23. Everyone loves a green curry biscuit
  24. it’s really about getting the right balance to be fair. If we’re 1-0 against Man City, home OR away, we need to do what it takes to keep hold of the ball and deny them every opportunity to attack us. If that means slowing the game down, taking our time over a free kick.. we need to do whatever it takes… bearing in mind the squad we have, I’d actually say any top 10 team we should be doing that with. I just don’t think we have a strong enough defense to be giving the ball away as much as we likely would be with the players we are playing trying to really attack them on the break. I could see it working a bit more if we play Fatawu, but for whatever reason he isn’t so we need to play to the strengths of the team he puts out.
