Hello everyone. My brother, Dale, is WALKING the North Coast 500. He’s doing it to raise money for the Charity Little Lady locks- they donate wigs to kids who have lost their hair for whatever reason. If anyone can spare a little bit of money, I know he would be very grateful. They are very close to their target and they would be absolutely chuffed if they made it! please give if you can! https://www.justgiving.com/page/sophie-cartledge-1723127530200 we are doing the famous North Coast 500...ON FOOT in order to see if we can raise a few pennies for this wonderful charity. We'll be trekking the entire 515miles over the course of 13 days, averaging 1.5 marathons a day! Our adventure will start on Sunday 1st September in Inverness, heading up to John O'Groats then West along the North coast before circling back down anti clockwise to land back in Inverness on Friday 13th September (we're hoping there's no bad omen there....!!). We know that this is an immense challenge(!), but nowhere near as challenging as what many of the young children go through who this charity helps, so it goes without saying, we are grateful for any and all amounts donated if you are able to do so. I think in Leicester we are about the only local dialect that shorts the phrase “ going to the ..” for example, we say “ Goin shop.” Or “ Goin pub” at least in Yorkshire they add a T and don’t miss out the middle words completely like we do!

yeah Trumps likeability isn’t even in question.. or his lack of it I should say.. I think Trump will be chomping at the bit for a second debate. She got a few sucker punches in and got him on the defensive a lot and he will want to come out swinging in the next debate..

1-0 Harris. Moderators clearly on her side though… If she is smart, she won’t turn up for the second debate. All she will do is damage the impact she has made in this debate… I can see why some people don’t like her though… she’s got that snarly attitude and I find her quite distasteful on a personal level.. but quite frankly that’s what you need when debating Trump. He obviously doesn’t like strong women- they rub him up the wrong way.. Both a bit light on policy and more interested in finger pointing..

it’s very odd behavior … you’d expect it from a Tory government maybe, but not a Labour government… and he also continues to ignore pressure to increase taxes on the super rich…. but people can’t use this to forget just how bad things were under the Tories.. memories can fade quickly , and I wish they wouldn’t..

honestly I think he had such a dominant win that he felt he had the backing to be a bit bolder and less reserved in his decision making… but yea… could have been better ways to save money surely…
