See the absolute respect that Fulham player had for Vardy?
-
0-0 at half time, bring on some subs around 60mins and sneak a 1-0 win
-
There’s no way Mads, Mavididi and Fatawu are only on 10k a week each..
-
im not! Vardy won’t play much .. our wingers don’t, BCR is about the only attacking midfielder who dries, mos Tod our experience will be sitting back and mopping up
-
people seem to expect us to pay 30m several times for all these exciting talents with little realization of the situation we are in.. we are just not an attractive proposition any more. People need to understand that.
-
Give it up! yes. Absolutely. He’s got more prem experience in his little finger than all those put together. We will need cool heads and experienced players to keep things steady when a few defeats and the points deductions come in…
-
They’d have to get a job anyway? It wouldn’t be enough to live on for the rest of their lives. University paid for without a student loan hanging over there heads and a nice house and by the time they do leave university there probably won’t be much left after that.
-
well… not really… football is a very short career. I wouldn’t write off 8 million of my grandkids inheritance.. that could set them all up for life.
-
they demand flair and stepovers. Even from their ballboys.
-
I guess it’s a calculated gamble.. cost of this deal, considering we haven’t been able to get our preferred targets, is worth it if it secures us another season of prem football. ( fyi he played 35 games for palace last season )
-
personally, I’d give my right arm for us to have an ‘ok’ season!
-
well if he’s good enough for Palace, then he is certainly what we need. People need to let go of our league win and European campaigns. It’s giving people unrealistic ideas of the type of player we should try and sign.
-
we are going to be in a relegation scrap. Young lads can lose their way in that sort of situation and go missing. We need cool experienced heads. We simply can’t depend on or rely on the latter two or even Buoanotte when the going gets tough. McAteer didn’t impress in the champ and Alves did play in the champs so what makes you think they’ll be able to play an important part this season?
-
im happy for them to do whatever it takes to stay up. It would be moronic not to do so..
-
He might not be that guy who runs to the byline and gets the ball into the box, but he might be the one who threads the ball nicely into the one who does that. He’s respected and appreciated by Palace fans for what he does for the team and quite frankly, I’d give my right arm to be where palace are, as a team, right now..
-
You’ll be sorely mistaken if you think Mav and Fatawu can play every game. He can also cover at number 10 or 9.
-
We don’t actually have many at the club who can play his role. He’s not going to be a goal scorer like Vardy, he’s going to be setting people up.
-
but he’s not rubbish though. That’s the thing. He’s a good team player who will bring others into the game and will work his socks off. the fee is too much though for sure..
-
Dr Lewis saved my life but my wife said he didn’t wash his hands between compression and bagging..
-
the writer of this article really should have mentioned there are problems with the players agent…
-
to be fair lots of people like Christmas shopping…
-
plus about 5 years age difference?

So there’s a lot of talking that Robert Kennedy is considering dropping out of the presidential race and endorsing Trump. As an independent, he was never really in with a chance of course but as tight as this race might be it could be aN important decision. He’s been polling about 10% in some of the swing states and if that goes to Trump, it could be huge. its worth pointing out that he seems more upset with the Democrats than he does actually wanting to support Trump.. lots of accusations coming from his camp of the Dems planting people inside his campaign office, dems sabotaging his campaign and some underhand tactics , again by the Dems.. Dems might have made a colossal mistake and there is a chance they may have thrown away the momentum gained by appointing Harris… Trump is apparently willing to offer him an important role in the government in exchange for his endorsement..
-
what’s even more dumbfounding is that they would consider going back to Trump…
-
let’s be honest, we only need him for 1 season to steady the ship and stay up. We’ll then go for that attacker we want this season but might not want to come. Then, when Vardy retires, he can take the mantle of the experienced attacking player to guide the younger ones..
