what i can say is that its been a policy for us to go for players towards the end of their contract to save on fees. whether that has worked out in practicality, is of course open for discussion.

It's always been the Leicester way to save on transfer fees and compensation.. go for players who are either out of contract or running down their contract. we will likely do that with our managers too , considering we ARE in quite a financial predicament..

His attention to detail, studious nature and the type of tactics he prefers will suite the chelsea squad very well. to think he will likely improve that team too, could make things very intresting

He'll have the money to get the players in he needs. . he'll organize them well and will make them difficult to beat. He did very well at putting square pegs in round holes at Leicester and the average player will have a higher technical ability than what we have. so he is going to be a success. im sure of it. and so many will have egg on their faces., I'm not angry at him or Chelsea for this, im angry with how our financial handlings have allowed this situation to develop. I'm angry at the board.

I wish he would have stayed, but im glad this has been sorted now to give us ample time to get a new manager in and for him to get a few players in. You just cant begrudge him a move to Chelsea.

we are so up the creek without a paddle with meeting financial targets, it could all get swallowed up…
