and yet you are suggestion a peace deal... i would suggest it's even less realistic to expect/ trust Russia to keep any kind of a deal.
-
the alternative is that instead of messing about we keep funding Ukraine. I believe it’s in our best interests to do so. The only reason why Russia has made any kind of gains recently is because we backed off in our funding. again, Russia have shown that they have no intention of respecting any kind of a deal by the fact they haven’t respected any kind of deals previously.
-
It has to be said also, I don’t either side will want to cede Crimea.
-
And not only that, what evidence is there that Russia would respect any kind of deal? Didn’t they sign a deal in 2014 recognizing Ukranian sovereignty and right to exist? if a deal is reached, I feel like we will be visiting the same situation in 10-15 years time and by this time, Russia will attack from a stronger, closer position. Russia have done nothing to suggest they would respect any kind of deal.

I vote for Daggers to proof-read that Audit....

I'd be interested to know what Starmer hopes to gain by making a big thing about that, other than the short term gain of sticking the knife in further to Sunak until he bursts. Will die hard corbynites, for example, be able to vote for a Party that contains Theresa May? Also, the more MPs that defect to Labour, the more likely a vote of No confidence in Sunak is , which is not what Labour wants, i'd imagine... would suit them more to keep him limping on to an election?

the only time we truly shone with slow defenders recently was when we had Kante in front of them. But we dont need to look at staying up, i suppose. just survive! i'd still have no confidence in Vesty for that, though, unfortunately. I feel like he'd be targeted and exploited.

Jamie Vardy was my computer password but now I'm scoring alongside him

Definitely keep as a squad player. will help having the homegrown talent in our squad -
The amount of times he's had balls go over his head without him even leaving the ground to try and reach ( which you wont find a stat for ) is laughable. We need to learn from our last time in the prem and i'd put it to you that playing someone who was too awful to be in our relegation season isnt someone we should be putting any trust in..
-
he could maybe cover both - the 9 or the 10 which would definitely be our thing- get someone in who can cover more than 1 position. But yes we’d definitely need another striker in with Daka, Nacho off and Vardy likely unable to play and finish many games..
-
that’s a tough call to make, to say he’s a HUGE improvement on Daka. Daka scored goals in the Austrian league and Scmodics has scored in the champ - never played in the prem. id at least like to sign someone who has some top flight experience, personally.
-
it’s amazing how the potential of a prem contract that can turn you into a millionaire can help you appreciate possession football…
-
I’m not so sure we should hold that team up as a Tolken of what players you need to win the prem. It was a bit of a strange season, I’m sure we can all agree. They did also have Kantè in front of them, who was a bit of a freak show that year, Besides, added into the fact Vesty can’t head the ball, I’d definitely say he’s the one to replace for the prem.
-
id suggest the better option would be to get rid of the defender with no pace and who can’t really head the ball?
-
And it’s one he’s failed at previously with us!
-
In comparison to the championship, yes. Much better quality of players in the prem even in the bottom half!
-
change of system won’t give him pace neither will it stop us getting mauled by rampant prem attacks with him being the one exploited.
-
give prem teams a sniff of a weakness and they’ll exploit it all day long..
-
Then what about the season before that when he was terrible? That should show wether he’s good enough for the prem… you know… the times when he did play in the prem?
-
But he was AWFUL before the previous season, what makes you think he has suddenly improved to play that season? Rodgers or not, he does not have the pace to play in the prem. It’s mind boggling that people think, despite clear evidence to say otherwise, he’ll suddenly play well in the prem
-
see above comment.
-
That should tell you everything. Wasn’t even good enough for a side that was doomed to be relegated!
