  1. White House Press Sec - keep up!
  2. We need a new thread, birds you fancy off the telly but you probably shouldn't....
  3. He'll be paid handsomely to take it to 5/6 rounds I'd of thought.
  4. Is she fitter than your cousin?
  5. Thats at the extreme end of rage and violence - so its now good news he's banged up for a long time.
  6. That and social media telling all the young uns that if they eat one meal containing any ultra processed food they will die a slow death.
  7. I wouldn’t wipe my backside with that excuse for a paper jokes aside I had zero data to back up my point, just felt less expensive and have got some decent deals.
  8. The guy had a decent history of bad behaviour including biting someone’s ear off. Clearly unhinged, feel for the families affected and have no sympathy for him all.
  9. Seeing Frank Lampard do the Klopp thing at full time with their fans every week boils my piss.
  10. Apart from £60bn of tax raising measures
  11. Deserved less than half or pleased he got double what you initially thought?
  12. And his agent would of been in every interested clubs ear and said ''hang on 12 months mate and you can get him for free*'' * and a nice signing on fee and a fat agents fee to boot. We aren't the first club to let a decent player go on a free, it happens all the time! A lot of captain hindsights on this forum.
  13. He's probably given the maximum he could
  14. A technical director will probably be on £250K - £400K a year, so Faes and Hamza's wages for a month combined - it doesn't mean we are out the red, it means someone has woken up and realised the current circus can't go on as it is. The two aren't really linked.
  15. 21 years 6 months
  16. I'm not sure business owners are making decisions based on ''frightening'' right wing media, that's a bit wild and a really poor excuse for the poor metrics.
  17. I said he wanted a bigger club - and Villa can offer more money. Not sure why you're getting your knickers in a twist about it. There isn't option A) PSG, Arsenal and Man City then option B) Leicester City. There are a whole host of clubs here and in the rest of Europe that are a better option financially and when taking the blue specs off, much bigger.
  18. It's not a job you sling on indeed and hope for the best. High calibre recruitment takes time. There is also a large chance they will mess it up, either way they aren't coming out with a ''timeline'' or ''update'' - the update will be when it happens. Don't get excited about the Jan trf window either, we probably don't have any money to spend and its a tough window to operate.
  19. If you were in Tieleman's position would you tie yourself down to LCFC? He won the FA Cup for us. He's ambitious and believe it or not players have their eyes open to opportunities and bigger clubs than us. He was at the peak of his career and had the opportunity to play at a bigger club and get a mega signing on bonus. We probably could of kept him if we completely smashed our wage structure, but that was probably unlikely. Not defending Rudkin and Co as they have plenty of history of bad deals, but not everything is black and white like you suggest. If you think extending Luke Thomas' contract is comparable to Tielemans then..........
  20. Hope that Paul Doyle gets locked up for a long time, the impact hes had on over 100 people lives - what an absolute scumbag
  21. Christmas doesn't feel as expensive as it was last year.
  22. We cant just compare to the eurozone - probably the G7 would be a better comparison - where France is leading the way! My point is you should always look at the pace of change rather than just the absolute number. If it was 4% then 5% in 6 months this is more alarming than if it was 6% and has been static at 6% for 18 months.
  23. Eurozone in 12 months has only ticked up 0.2%, same for EU - so the UK's unemployment rate is growing faster than the rest of europe on average. https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/web/products-euro-indicators/w/3-02122025-bp US 4.4% up from 4.1% 12 months prior.
