Fair play to our Thomas - he didn’t back down. -

We’re threatening something here. The later the goal, the better, so we don’t have long to then hold on! -

Ah! A central midfielder on the wing… I wondered how long it would take for Rowett to go to one of his go to plans! -

That’s why you don’t necessarily sub off someone having a poor game at halftime! -

That’d be a pretty poor game plan away at Stoke. -

We are very light weight, especially in central midfield. It was a concern I had at the start of the season (alongside our striker options) when many on here were talking up “HMS piss the league 2.” The problem as I see it - collectively we only have an average level championship and not enough difference makers in key areas. -

Mukasa has had a truly awful half - so bad, I’d keep on for at least 10-15 minutes in the second period in the thinking he couldn’t possibly be as bad. -

Given how much potential Thomas’s long throws have… it’s criminal how poor we are at utilising them. -

That line was stupidly high - they gave themselves no chance of winning the initial cross. -

My god our players are under such a cloud mentally. -

I don’t know - the defensive line seemed very deep too, that in turn makes it harder for a Keeper to come. -

Come on @Finnegan! Not only are we going to win today - we’re going to win to Neil! (who’s Neil 🤷🏻♂️) -
He’s got Daka scoring already!

Why? He’s actually developed a little bit of form lately; no doubt helped by playing regularly in midfield. Add to this that we don’t have another workhorse style central midfielder available in the squad (Hamza injured), why would you move him and create a weakness in a central area? -
You could easily add Spurs and Manchester United to that list. There’s also growing fan discontent at Brighton I understand. Turns out, this competitive football at the top level is not as easy as a lot on here make out and that success / progression is very rarely linear.

Ah yes - Gary Rowett - a manager renowned for front foot football. Seriously, what is this post? Are you so desperate to show your King Power Out credentials to the rest of the group that you have to make up any old rubbish to ‘slate’ Rudkin and Top?

They wanted to see how Andy would do.

@Mods - Are we keeping this thread open? -
And the reply to you pointed out that parents will pull their kids in favour of other cat 1’s if their good enough. It would have an immediate impact.

Realistic Managerial Replacements

We’re struggling to field 2 competent/fit centre halves and so naturally you want to add an extra one in the mix - and completely misplace our 2nd top scorer in the process. -
That’s not true though is it - there’s parents that will actively tout their kids across academies within the 90 minute radius… and potentially move house if they need to.

It’s a multi-billion pound business and Top’s family have strong ties to the Thai Royal Family and Thai government. Whilst we’ve seen no business is too big to fail; it’s a significant size and that should ensure it could leverage cash to support the football club at least in the short/medium term if King Power still wishes to do so. If it doesn’t - that gives a clear indication that King Power would be looking for a sale of the club.

My understanding is his group bought Sunderland with the clubs own money and essentially flipped it for profit not that long down the line. He could easily do it with us because the club owns assets - both or either training complexes could fit a lot of houses on them! Other stuff I’ve read suggest he wasn’t very fond of the clubs fans (Sunderland and Charlton) and that this feeling was mutual. I think the suggestions of admin / going out of business are a little far fetched at present; King Power have consistently written off the clubs debt in the past.
