  1. Well Harry had match days to himself towards the back end of last season… so maybe he spent some of that time following the games on here?
  2. The majority of football clubs, including ours, do this via their annual accounts - which are publicly available via Companies House.
  3. I don’t think Mavididi is clever enough in his movement to perform a false 9 role effectively; I’m skeptical whether he’d actually be any use as a striker (even if he did once play as one), let alone such a specialist role as a false 9. I also fail to see how having no spearhead for our attack would actually help our attacking play when you consider the main strength of our side is the abundance of talented players that play directly behind the striker - we don’t need another body in there reducing space for these to play in, we need a striker for them to play in time and time again.
  4. Are you suggesting HMS piss the league again has veered off course and is heading straight for an iceberg? This forum has a serious bi-polar disorder 🤦🏻‍♂️
  5. Did you not see his Panini sticker?
  6. Scrabble traditionalists are shaking their heads at these comments. (Originally nouns were not allowed)
  7. It’s on their list - so you should be sorted.
  8. The one I gave you last time should work - they’re pretty good.
  9. Can I just check, is that “boooooooooooooo” or “Woooooooooout?”
  10. I don’t think he’s physically matured enough yet. His time will come but maybe not right away.
  11. He’s unhappy with the foundations.
  12. Looks like he’s going to QPR.
  13. That and he didn’t make the bench!
  14. Are we? King, Chilwell, Barnes, KDH, Thomas, Hamza, Heskey(!), Piper, Jakub, Scottish Cup winner Conrad Logan!
  15. Easy to say in hindsight, but everyone on these boards was encouraging the club to take the gamble at the time and dreaming of permanently challenging the traditional status quo. Ultimately, I think whatever was done (take the risk and try and keep the band together while adding a new bass player or appreciate your one hit wonder and accept that your lead singer and guitarist are going and you’ll go back to playing the local clubs like you used to) a similar sort of fall out that we have now would have happened.
  16. That pass is a Vestagaard speciality, hence Enzo liking him when he was here… and it looks like Marti’s drawn the same opinion.
  17. I don’t think that’s correct - Maresca liked the direct ball into the front man too.
  18. The other plausible scenario that would also prompt a reduction in spending is King Power working towards an exit from the club. You keep finding debt, it just increases your equity conversion.
  19. I think football culture overall needs to get out of this reactive ‘heaven and hell’ rating of players performances. And it should be noted “Boooing” the players you dislike creates the sort of atmosphere that makes the players you do actually like think twice about whether they want to continue playing for the club.
  20. Reality is, if the fans want King Power out, as they have been so vocal on, that logically means reduced spending and working towards break even rather than underpinning ‘allowable losses.’ Perhaps King Power are doing the ground work towards an exit?
  21. Another potential factor is perhaps they were able to give him better assurances over game time. I reckon QPR will be a good move for him.
  22. The other thing is even if you do sign someone, you’ve got to get them in, settled, become part of the group and they don’t have 6-8 weeks worth of Marti coaching them how he wants them to play. That’s not to say we don’t get someone in if we think they’ll work… but certainly in midfield I’d want to see someone come in before anyone went out.
  23. This is the key part that’s missing from the pieces of Marti’s puzzle. Present a significant arial threat in the box and defences then have to defend against the cross - stretching a defence and giving you more gaps in and around the penalty area for your clever players like Bilal who can find pockets of space. Ayew did the other bit of receiving from back to front and laying off to start moves well enough - but he’s never going to be a significant box threat against 2/3 centrehalfs.
  24. They were clearly “boooos.” The ‘collective’ opinion on him in here helps identify that.
  25. I accused you of hyperbole not delusion @Dames
