I detect cone-flated outrage.

• Your mood in 10 words? Who needs 10 words to describe their mood… argumentative! • Where will we finish? At Carrow Road in mid-May. • How many points will we be deducted? 6 • Who will be our most important player? Not at club yet. • Who will be top scorer? Not at club yet. • What are you most excited about? Games without VAR. • What are you most worried about? Our powder puff midfield. • What’s one thing you most want to see this season? The return of wearing proper shin pads and pulled up socks. • Which player is going to surprise us? Wout Faes - he’s a much better player than a lot of people give him credit for. • Which player do you most want out the door? Couilbaly - waste of a squad spot. • Which player linked with a move are you most desperate to keep? We should definitely try to keep Bilal if we can, he’ll only improve. • Will Martí Cifuentes still be the manager this time next year? Yes

Marti Cifuentes appointed new manager

It’s a maximum of 12 points for clubs going into administration; so there’s really no grounds for any point deduction above that level for PSR issues. Starting point for PSR point deduction’s is 6 points I believe. Also note; • Everton received a 10 point deduction, reduced to 6 on appeal for an initial breach. • They also received a separate 2 point deduction for a further breach the following year. • Forest received a 4 point deduction for their breach. These are the important factors and precedents that will go into deciding any potential points deduction. -
Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)

Forest and Spurs have been linked with him… for around £40 million, so probably out of our range. -
With these latest transfers out of the club done or near enough, I make it that we now have 24 players in the squad that would require registration to play… so that possibly means we could see an incoming transfer soon!

Mads Hermansen (close to 18m move to West Ham)
DJ Barry Hammond replied to MPH's topic in Transfer Talk
Jakub has featured in a lot of the early season promotional material too. That made it very clear, Mads is going, Stolz will be number 1. The Fiorentina game… I expect that was a late attempt by us to play a little bit of hardball, but if you’re short on bidders in a market apparently flooded with available goalkeepers… that was never likely to work. -

That was the problem with pretty much publicly promoting Jakub during pre-season… it hurt our bargaining power in terms of Mads. The further problem is there’s no way we could keep Mads now without seriously upsetting the apple kart in one way or another. -
What?!?

James Justin (signed for Leeds, official. 10m.)

Or just simply not very good. -
The "do they mean us?" thread pt 4
DJ Barry Hammond replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
Seems a tad harsh. It’s an interview where the journalist will pick the best quotes to fit inside a long form piece; and the section that involves Kate leans towards the positive side of the first part of the last decade. Stowell gets to deal with the fallout period! -
Morecambe Administration
DJ Barry Hammond replied to Jacob7839's topic in General Football and Sport
Whilst that might be the leagues imposed deadline - it looks for all purposes that the club is essentially beyond the point of no return now. If the situation hasn’t changed for the last 3-6 months because of key persons actions (or lack of)… why is it now going to change inside the next 14 days? Plus, realistically, if the club is to be saved, it needs to change hands sooner than the 20th - because even if the sale goes through, the club would then need some sort of reasonable working time frame to thrash together and register a makeshift squad to avoid falling even further behind the fixture list. -
I think they were loosely linked.
-
Those leagues seasons run March to November don’t they - I can imagine that’s a significant obstacle.
-
To add to their KDH and Ndidi transfers huh?!? They might as well take Faes whilst there at it!
-
Kone’s the right sort of striker signing for us at this very moment. A development striker at a price and in a league / situation that you can essentially take a calculated risk on. Fast forward 12 months and a possible promotion and we will then be looking at striker options again no doubt… but this time within a much higher price bracket and a much wider scouting net.

Mads Hermansen (close to 18m move to West Ham)

It was way back in mid-June via Rob Dorset and not long after he signed a new contract (in which case the bid probably came before he had signed that deal). -

See I wonder here… Mads is a very good goalkeeper, but I don’t ever see him commanding a top price for a Keeper. Stolz on the other hand - he’s got exceptional growth potential and I can’t help feel keeping Mads will significantly dent his growth and the potential return on investment we could see with him in a couple of years time. If reports of Norwich’s £8 million bid for Jakub this summer were true… that’s a significant bid from a championship club for a keeper that has yet to establish a first choice season for himself. Judging from the promotional stuff we’ve done this summer with Jakub, I think internally there was an expectation that he was going to be our number 1 this season and that we were more than happy with that outcome. So perhaps keeping Mads - if that’s what happens - and not having the funds from his sale to invest in other areas of the squad that we’re not so well positioned in is not the instant win that some perceive? -
I think it was highlighted we had 28/29 players that would need to be registered in order to play recently. And whilst the youngsters that don’t need registering might not seem a problem… if that takes you upwards of 30 first team pros, that means less coaching contact time and you’ll have a significant number of players that won’t make the squad each week, making it much harder to manage across the piece.

Have you not worked out that comment is a reaction to the squad announcement for todays game… where Justin hasn’t been included (whereas the two you mention start)? -
I know nothing of this case… but there are clear hints in this article there’s lot more to come from this story… as has been alluded to on here.
