They still think we sing "Champions of England you'll never sing that" at them Thick as mince.

I can't stand RVN and want him gone already, but in his defence on this point... I have it from a very good source that for the QPR cup game he was told under no circumstances must he involve any of the academy lads (except those already featuring obviously) in the matchday squad, and to put out the strongest XI possible - just so we could win the game. Clearly upstairs didn't have any faith in the academy lads, and was probably the case during PL fixtures until our fate was completely sealed. It may well be that he's wanted them to be more involved, but has been following instruction - if that's the case that may remain an issue for any other manager too.

Championship 2024/2025 Season Thread

It is clearly a red card. He is pulled back. The laws of the game state that pulling back when denying a clear goalscoring opportunity is a red card, even in the penalty area. -
I read that Briatore is also Doohan's manager. Quite incredible that your manager would come in as team principal (particularly when being involved with the team already) and then dispose of you immediately.

I can't stand the bloke. Telford the deserved winners today.
-
Telford fans couldn't buy - it was only for fans who had bought home tickets already this season. Telford had a designated away end they didn't sell out, so all of those accounts were blocked from purchasing. A lot did miss out, but they have contacted a lot of the regulars who missed out offering them tickets. Should be a wild old day.

Leicester City All Stars Vs Anstey Nomads All Stars

I have made the ridiculous decision to go Forest in the event that Vardy bags his 200th and last goal for us. Got 2 adult and 2 u16 available... £30 (FV). -
Don't have much time for the sprint, but that was pretty special for Kimi!

Sadly mine has arrived.

Not been to Harborough but looks a decent enough set up for that level to me. I have no knowledge of the club, but would imagine it's a starting point to bigger things as/when required. Penalties at an end on Police advice happens quite often, particularly at lower levels. There was a lot of trouble down in the corner by the turnstiles on Saturday (mainly caused by about 50-75 Banbury kids). The Police tried to make it a dead zone to avoid any such scenes, but if penalties had happened a lot would have piled down there and overwhelmed them. Telford is going to be a whole different story on Monday given the trouble/"riots" between the two sides previously.

He missed a stonewall penalty down the home end, and there should have been a second yellow too. I did think he gave a few soft free kicks for Kettering, mind. I think this is just the inept standard at that level unfortunately. Harborough also seemed to take issue with the referee on penalties being down the home end on Police advice, not sure what he could do about that. My best mate who was Policing (I know) the game also said that the Harborough captain approached him and accused him of being biased - he's a Diamonds fan and under no circumstances wanted Kettering winning that Nice statement from Mitch Austin this morning though. Wish Harborough well, clearly developing as a club at a rapid rate. A very impressive season. On the ground/pitch; nobody at Kettering wants to be at Latimer Park, so understand the comments - but when the council aren't willing to help accommodate the club, there's not much that can be done. That said, it was some atmosphere down the home end (tin hat) throughout the whole game.

Bloody hell

What the hell are these lot up to

Kettering also sold out earlier too. Weather promises to be a cracker!
-
Signed a new deal a few days ago.

Watched a lot of Kettering this year (including today), and they are soft as anything at the moment. I've said for weeks that there's very little chance of them going up if they finished in the playoffs.

If you know, you know.

This man absolutely cannot be here next season. It is astonishing that he has been here to this point. -
It's been a pleasure Departure to be confirmed at 12
