  1. Andy Reid looking like a grumpy little sod. Decent game so far.
  2. Stop pissing around with the spidercam ffs, hope Neuer takes it out with the ball. ... and people on here were turning their noses up.
  3. Well balls being blasted at arms = penalty was the rule last week. Frustrating to be playing the game to different standards one week to the next.
  4. Why's Nuno Mendes on the ground like he's been knocked out there? Threw himself into the player, dramatically pirouettes to the turf and plays dead. Bizarre. Musiala still looking off the pace
  5. To be fair though, if any team in the world deserved to be shithoused to the max it's Atletico Madrid.
  6. Miles-Skelly joining in on the back up into a player and scream foul bullshit ploy. Ref yet again rewards the behaviour.
  7. Unsure how Gabriel was fouled there
  8. Gyokeres backing up into people and falling over again, ref & Shearer lapping it up.
  9. Arsenal absolutely all over them. Atleti celebrating goal kicks like goals
  10. He's scratched the ball into the goal lads. It's most definitely gone in off his hand. It's not a conscious action so I wouldn't red card but most definitely strange they allowed it. Clear handball, ball goes in off handball, Man U goal @Old Trafford, not especially surprising.
  11. You can see the ball deviate off his moving hand, last touch on the way in. Wrong decision.
  12. Congratulations to him today. Echos of Nige keeping Carlisle up early in his management career. Leadership qualities in his playing career as a captain following through into management, an intelligent bloke too, knows multiple languages, integrated into new countries as a player, likes a laugh, exudes a good aura. It could be said it's all been downhill for LCFC since Morgan & Fuchs left... It's just whether he's ready. Maybe he could do with a few more battles, or development of a squad over a period of time. Of course that has to match our Club's strategy, how we're moving in the recruitment market, how restricted our finances will be, if we're a Club capable of competing any more. Decent shout
  13. Great bloke. Would've gone on to do great things without his knee injury. A legitimate world-class player at his peak, so consistent, so much energy. Club loses another greatly admired player.
  14. I'm not sure what people expected to be honest, he produced what he always has done through his career. Scored two big goals against Southampton & Ipswich away in the Premier League. Languid, slow, sure. That's what he does, you can't teach an old dog new tricks, so why expect what he isn't capable of? Recruiting him made sense for trying to stay in The Prem if we had other capable strikers who could consistently provide goals and pace but we didn't, we then go into this season yet again failing in recruitment and have people expecting 20 goals from Ayew and 20 assists from Bobby de Cordova-Reid... never gonna happen. Abit of a scapegoat, misunderstood player. Relief another big wage is gone through and hopefully we sign appropriate players for next season and going forward.
  15. White shorts please
  16. That's the old Ricardo I miss, even at his best times he'd have a late tackle in him and would hurl abuse at the ref while taking a yellow
  17. Well done Patson
  18. He's a cheating diving little shit bag. The year after Atleti vs Leicester, at the World Cup Final in Moscow, Antwat Greasyman pulled off this trick to get the freekick France scored their first goal from. Same game, the ref then gave France a penalty fom a ball striking an arm after a deflected cross. Everything went for France in that tournament, but I was happy for Ngolo. I hope that is written in the stars, one day that we get our revenge on Atletico Madrid.
  19. Lookman fires it straight at the keeper, point blank. You can't have an Atleti game without dodgy pens lads, we should know that too well by now.
  20. Can see both sides on that peno. Defender comes steaming in, all he can see is Gyokeres's name & number - dumb. Meanwhile Gyokeres backs up into the guy and then does the classic feet up to glutes from standing position "oh no I've forgotten how to stand up" technique, and flails to the floor. Not pretty either way.
  21. Nils Eric Johansson
  22. Deflection off his thigh, again never a pen. Refs centre of attention again.
  23. Taken from somewhere else. Engineered dive 100%, he stopped playing the ball and initiated the contact.
  24. That's not a pen. Diaz moves his foot across into the defender more than anything else, basically kicks him
