Great win for us, and the highlights are maybe just a bit unkind... but Ipswich looked dreadful. They are dead bottom of WSL2 though.

I agree. I also did wonder the same thing regarding Passmoor, but with the reasons he left West Ham in the first place, is it a case that he may not want to commit to being a permanent manager, may not want the pressure.

It is evidence of the general London bias especially. It's so blatant. I used to listen to Guardian weekly's WSL podcast, but I struggle to make it through now it's that bad and biased.

Typical the commentators are saying the Van Egmond tackle could have been a red, but barely blink an eye at the Bright tackle, which was moreover!

Mouchon on the bench today. Quite defensively set up by the looks of it, but thats probably reasonable. Let's see if we can avoid a hiding, maybe sneak a point if we can be really solid.

Oh jeez, that's shocking. Can't speak for him as a person, but was a really great manager, given a bit more backing at Liverpool, probably could have done amazing things. Gutted that Women’s football has lost such a figure, gutted we won't see him lead out our Women’s team, but most importantly gutted for his family. Rest in peace.

You dont know what those words were though, there must have been a reason that they called Shannon back. And even if that was the reason things enflamed, its still up to the player to be cool. Again, especially if you're already on a yellow. It doesn't matter at the end of the day, we won and she will miss the Chelsea game in which we will purely be looking to avoid a hiding, then we move on to Spurs where we will need her back.

At the moment they are 3, but I expect they will likely move due to the sheer amount of fixtures that are being broadcast (pretty much all of them). I just watched a little bit of the VOD back on the WSL YouTube channel and was actually astounded there was even far less there than I thought!

The first yellow was deserved as she did dive in to tackle the player. The 2nd yellow was theb because Shannon was mouthing off at the ref. Its understandable that Shannon was frustrated as it definitely should have been our free kick and she worked hard to earn it, but you have to be so careful when you're already on a yellow and she maybe just took it too far. And no, I think you're right, reds from 2 yellows can't be appealed.
