  1. Something weird at Southampton too. I once asked a Saints fan about why they never bring 3k to our place anymore and he said something along the lines of their ticket office never ask for more than the initial allocation now.
  2. I would be interested into why they aren't going through with it? I just see positives for it personally but I can't recall them ever asking the fanbase if it's something we should have.
  3. I will be very surprised if that doesn't get moved.
  4. I do think we should have rail seating/standing all the way behind the goal but the club just don't seem bothered about it. I would happily stand every home game then, just like at away games. People then have the choice to stand or sit as well.
  5. Why does it matter if people are standing for a penalty or not? I like to personally stand when I can, penalties as the example, but some people don't. Choices. What does standing for a penalty add to? Does it just mean we're less "boring"? I wouldn't call it entitlement either. I've been in the Kop, same position, since League One and nothing has changed. Some people sing and some don't. There is not a fanbase in the Country that is consistently loud. A handful of Kop's stand all game (Villa as an example). I've been to enough games, home and away, and seen some of the "best fanbases in the Country" totally quiet for large periods of games.
  6. I'm behind the goal in the Kop and everyone is up when we score. Massive assumptions on here from the same people but not a surprise.
  7. Yep. Though start for him. Gordon has been much better this season anyway.
  8. Was it youth on youth? I've seen the headlines say a schoolgirl has been stabbed to death but that's it. Though this seems to be a more regular occurance nowadays.
  9. Tbh, I said it before, I wouldn’t mind see us both top two (as long as we win the division). Would be nice to see Ipswich in the top flight again after all this time.
  10. Great to see Mansfield through (and a good win against Peterborough). The job Clough has done there is brilliant, just hope he can finally get them promoted soon.
  11. And when they finished in Europe in 2001. Shame really. Only a town yet they've got much more history than Norwich. I think they had a couple of decent seasons after their relegation after that European run, remember that 6-1 defeat there!? The last decade has been horrific for them though.
  12. Jeez that's a joke.
  13. Our numbers are fine.
  14. I'm guessing Man Utd are on TV? You know, because they're not on enough
  15. 10 goals and 9 assists in a relegated side. Was ridiculous he never got player of the season last season tbh. 4 assists already. He'd be in double figures at the end of the season if Kane was still there. Good player and I will give him a welcome reception if he ever returns to face us.
  16. A couple interesting games tonight. Ipswich v Wolves, Salford v Burnley (come on Burnley), Bradford v Middlesbrough. Can't see Palace winning at Old Trafford though.
  17. haha no I do agree with what you're saying generally but I just don't know how it changes without a mass boycott, and not just at one club either. I remember Liverpool boycotting Hull about 6 years ago now, at least 1000 of their fans didn't go. Stuff like that is needed on a bigger scale though, not just one club. But what do you get on internet forums like this and social media now? People knocking clubs for their following. I even saw one poster on here slating how many we took to Southampton the other week, comapring us to Ipswich who took more.
  18. I mean, you're probably right. I agree they are weird as well but don't you think all these people that cling onto someone so much are weird? They're like the football twitter people.
  19. But everyone has different principles and different definitions of what is acceptable to pay and what isn't.
  20. Of course it is, that's my point. It's your own principle, not everyone's, so for me, it's why I think nothing will ever change. If I don't go someone else will.
  21. Nothing will change anyway. I could refuse to go because of the price, but someone else will go instead. I stopped going to Elland Road the last time ourselves and Leeds were in the Championship, but nothing happened aside from me missing out on two or three games there. If there was a whole boycott then I'd get it. Anyway, if I hadn't already got my train tickets then I might have thought about leaving it but I've already committed a fair part of the day's expense on those anyway.
  22. She is probably the biggest female pop artist in the World. That's why it feels like a "cult". That happens with all big artists I think. I can't remember the last time someone, a solo pop artist, was as big as Taylor Swift is. Not sure if you've listened to much of her, but she isn't "shite". Her albums are good, consistently strong, and it's fairly obvious why she is as big as she is because the lyrics connect with the fans. I mean, I wouldn't go and see her live but I like her music.
  23. Or just the £1 in the lower tier. I'm not to fussed with any tier, done both before at QPR, so I'll probably just go for the lower as it's cheaper.
  24. I've already bought train tickets, so committing to it but that is a disgraceful price. Bigger allocation than I thought.
