I agree Leeds was a turning point, but I’d say it was more about the second half missed chances and defensive collapse than Maresca’s pre-match comments. Something in the team got broken in that second half.

You can tell it’s written by a Leicester fan - the sense the impending doom is palpable.

It was interesting to hear a neutral perspective from the radio commentators. They were saying Bristol were targeting Faes because they’d identified him as the weak link, and that he was really struggling against Conway. They reckoned Faes had a terrible game and were actually laughing at how bad Belgium’s defence must be for him to make the squad. Maybe Faes is struggling because he is being asked by Enzo to do something he just can’t do, and that has destroyed his confidence. I don’t know. But we have other options in that position and it’s clear the guy needs a break. It wasn’t pleasant hearing neutral commentators laugh at how bad our defence is. The first half of the season is starting to feel like a lifetime ago.

We are facing a points deduction for breaching PSR limits. That’s what I was referring to.

I’d say there’s a very good chance that the off-field financial issues have been filtering down to the players for the past few months and seriously damaged morale. The spirit they had in the first half of the season seems to have completely disintegrated. It’s very sad to see.

*Phone rings* ”Hi - is that the EFL? Hey guys, it’s Leicester here. How are you? Anyway, you know we’ve been refusing to cooperate with you at all and trying to sue you and all that? Well we’ve had a think and we realise we were being a bit silly there. And we were just wondering if it’s ok with you that we might just take a six point penalty now….”
