  1. 100% agree, but even Wilder would be better than O'Neil.
  2. If they appoint O'Neil I would go full tin hat conspiracy theorist and say it's not just that King Power don't regard us as a priority, but more likely that they're actually going out of their way to destroy us.
  3. I live in a village just outside of Oxford. On Saturday night I was chatting to an Oxford Utd season ticket holder in one of the local pubs. When I asked him about Nelson we launched into a five-minute monologue praising every aspect of his game. He said he was head and shoulders above everyone else on the pitch whenever he played and is clearly a future England starter. I really do hope we get to see him for a season or two first…
  4. -12 points? 😂
  5. Wilder is 4/1 on the betfair main site, as he is on most other sites. His odds have certainly tumbled, but that’s still a good price for anyone who thinks it’s going to happen.
  6. I doubt the club has any intention of selling El Khannous.
  7. Trouble at mill already. Has there ever previously been a split in a party consisting of two people?
  8. It’s the thought that counts.
  9. Yes they would. The club is clearly trying to get Rohl. It's just a matter of whether it's possible to extricate him from Sheffield Wednesday in time for him to have a proper pre-season with us. You'd assume there must be a cut-off date at which we'll look elsewhere...
  10. Because if you do a good job you have a very good chance of managing in the Premier League next season, which is something that would appeal to the vast majority of managers out there.
  11. Plusnet will come clean and admit they don’t do anybody proud before we get a new manager.
  12. I dropped by the Six Hills café on the Fosse Way just up the road from Seagrave earlier. I asked the girl behind the counter for a bacon cob. "Do you mean Röhl?" she asked, before suddenly looking up at me. There were tears in her eyes. I just nodded and softly said, "Yes. I meant Röhl." No more words needed to be said. We both knew.
  13. The last time we had a managerial ‘open goal’ fall to us by chance was when Martin O’Neill suddenly became available after falling out with Robert Chase at Norwich shortly after Mark McGhee walked out on us.
  14. People at the club are grumpy that fans are speculating about who our manager will be next season, or the Rohl rumour specifically?! 😁
  15. No. 88% of people are happy with Rohl vs 53% for Dyche.
  16. He was sacked by Bournemouth when his stock was high because they could see he was a coach, not a manager. He then went on to prove them correct by losing the dressing room in spectacular fashion at Wolves, who then improved beyond measure under his replacement. He would be a disaster.
  17. It would be so on brand for us to agree to pay additional compensation for coaching staff who don't even work for Sheff Wednesday any more...
  18. It's probably more to do with the absence of credible leaks.
  19. He's currently at 22/1, so the opportunity is there for a nice little insurance bet to numb the disappointment if it happens.
  20. Why would that affect us?
  21. Baby it’s Rohl outside…
