I agree VK is shite, but if VK is shite, then what does that make Thomas? As he is worse? - I agree with Faes, maybe Vesty or Coady is a better option there. JJ is an obvious one - Coulibaly seems to be a much better option from what we have seen so far.

He isn't great, usually a 5 or 6 out of 10 most games, will not give anything really of significance going forward and sometimes defensively goes missing, BUT I think sometimes some people forget how bad Thomas is. It's like replacing a miss firing Ford Mondeo with a Datsun Sunny with no engine.

I think it was more about the statement he released becuase of the planned protests, saying you can protest all you want but during the game get behind the team. He should have led by example by attending the game to show that leadership.

So tells the team he understands the protests, but to be there for the team at kick off, but isn't there himself.... Great leadership....

The game was so strange, Arsenal were really quite toothless upfront, sterling was just awful, so it's more of a case of a poor Arsenal rather than us looking solid at the back. As soon as the subs came on we were back to our usual selves. Kristianson is just a championship defender, very much a 4 or 5 out of 10 defensively and going forward every game. Ayew and BDR starting is just so sad. They are pretty much as useless as useless can get. Vardy has just not got the tools to lead our like anymore, he runs out of steam pretty quickly, he'd be OK as an impact sub but isn't the answer to lead our line. I just wish Mavididi had some footballing intelligence. His decision making is one of the worst I've seen but he's so talented, makes me sad to see it wasted. Bilal didn't have his best game, but you could tell he was in two minds and his defensive direction by Ruud had him shackled. I don't know what the answer is. We just don't have the players to change things, we don't have a manager who can adapt and grind out results. I feel the inevitable.
