  1. It's not a crazy decision at all, they should have never gone back to him. He makes stupid decisions, set in one way of playing that only works for some players, and the team they gave him in January should have cruised through the play offs.
  2. Jokes on all of us, the internal candidate is probably the useless **** who already has the job
  3. The charity thing in the minutes. Just realised was it literally us kicking off on here that it was clearly them using it as deflective PR? Not sure how you could interpret that as fans criticising charity work… we just weren’t buying the timing of it
  4. Bit optimistic that I think. A lot of our u21s would be in most national sides already. I think better measure is U20/19 tournaments. We’ve had a fair few feature throughout this season. If they’re playing week in week out in the championship there might be more of a chance of U21.
  5. Just lost the Polo…. Diddums…
  6. Assumed timeline... - Signed off design and ordered kits - Sponsor found to be illegal - Order destroyed and having to remake either sponsorless or with KP on
  7. Always assumed it's whoever from the club lives in Wymeswold with him
  8. OOOOH US NEXT PLEASE!!
  9. Go take yourself to the naughty step next to Top, Rudkin, Whelan and the ****ing ponys
  10. The **** does "Others not so keen, unless they are" mean ... sounds very us!
  11. Even stronger Rafa vibes now.
  12. First name that popped in to my head when Wymsey appeared again!
  13. Again, not doubting any of this, but you've reaffirmed my point here... "As the official supporters trust we have a role in the Fan Engagement Framework " You're untouchable within reason, so I don't think there's a need for the nuance and balance in some of the comms, you don't need to add in the 'oh well I guess maybe there's a reason for it', it just needs to be more direct.
  14. I was going to reply with the same but assumed it was just a commentary piece rather than one of their letters that I assume they email in? If I was writing it i'd take out the following... "There may be valid and legitimate legal reasons for that because of the PSR / financial situation, but we’re left in limbo for now." "other than brief comments in the Southampton home game programme, and the recent announcement about contract extensions for ‘nine rising stars’." From my understanding the club HAVE to speak to the official supporters trust and include them in official meetings, if that's the case, give them full barrels! Don't tip toe around it, call them out and ask hard questions. It's not like they can get rid...
  15. I can’t be sure but I imagine ordering circa 20,000 kits with a now officially illegal sponsor on has proved quite expensive to fix?
  16. I think this is why this entire scandal is much bigger than any of us realise. Premier League probably complicit, gambling commission has many opportunities years before to get rid of TGP as well. Football at the top level has likely just become one very big, very efficient, money laundering exercise
  17. I think as soon as he was given a one tournament contract it was clear England just wanted someone to fill a gap until another candidate (I imagine Howe) is available. They probably thought with Tuchel there was at least the chance of going deep in a tournament with his experience. The squad selections have been worse than anything Southgate served up in his final year
  18. How the **** is that dog shagger still an international footballer?
  19. His Royal Thainess has already had 2 comments removed….
  20. TLDR He's good mates with Russell Martin and they share the same ethos.
  21. Called BBM as soon as he was hired. City Group Possession Football Easy to control Perfect for KP A few interesting articles (will need to run through paywall blockers) https://www.irishtimes.com/sport/soccer/2024/04/29/innovative-brian-barry-murphy-is-nurturing-manchester-citys-best-young-players-watch-what-he-does-next/ https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5776122/2024/09/20/manchester-city-brian-barry-murphy-interview/
  22. Must... not.... comment....
  23. If Brentford/Frank were interested, Frank is about to walk into a club that still don't really have a high quality number one.
  24. Which is probably why when this all comes out we'll see who our ultimate owner is too.... My only hope is they fine/prosecute individuals rather than coming after the club.
  25. I thought so too, i'm wondering whether some will have already been done, I'm not sure Vianna officially started until a week or so ago
