Isn't that just the same argument people defending Rudkin have here? There's a difference between Chief Scout and DOF.... Walsh went to Everton as DOF and Glover was Chief Scout. Walsh was very quickly isolated at Everton, Koemen didn't like working with him, and Allardyce is mates with Glover, so a lot of the work on signings was done without Walsh, it's widely known, stories been told over and over.
