Exactly. KP have found another yes man who will go along with dodgy dealings rather than build local and national partnerships. It's not just shirt sponsors too, it's manufacturers. Ashley who I have mentioned on here brought in Hummell at Sunderland and they've been a revelation up there, forming great engaging relationships with fans, understanding the clubs culture and heritage and creating fantastic kits every season.

I think for people who have read into it though, and people who are aware of SERIOUS talent in this space that is currently available... people who have worked hard to form legit partnership deals with reputable companies.... it's just disappointing to see us go down a very predictable South East Asia connections route....

Tell you what, no matter how terrible he turns out to be, he's going to get a ****ing shock when he see's the 'talent' he's managing in our commercial and marketing departments.... he's got more experience than everyone combined

I like the new contract for Tuchel, but it does feel a tad like an agent safety net in case we have a shocker of a world cup/ FA safety net that enables them to get compensation from a club side. Probably cynical but I feel a 2030 contract would have meant it was more of a strategic move.
