  1. It's because it's more King Power than Leicester City FC
  2. VAR would have helped if they'd scored or maybe not.

  5. The Savoy Cinema on Belgrave Gate, when it was known as the ABC back in 1982. The new Art Deco style Savoy Cinema was opened at 42 Belgrave Gate on 4 June 1937. Part of the Associated British Cinemas (ABC) group, it was the largest cinema in Leicester, with 2,414 seats. The “futuristic” interior had chrome, concealed lighting, an illuminated arch over the screen and the latest “high fidelity” sound. As well as a cinema screen the Savoy had a Compton music organ and a small stage for variety shows. Learn more at: https://storyofleicester.info/leisure.../savoy-cinema/
  6. Surely Notts Forest haven't got a right to claim.
  7. …or Liverpool if it wasn’t for all their injuries.
  8. Bump
  9. Probably but I'm sure Enzo will want to improve the squad and lose a few of the contracted players who aren't getting much game time so likely to get less in the PL especially if he replaces some of the out of contract players.
  10. I didn't say it would be easy just easier if they can see we have players who can compete etc, surely better than if they haven't played at all like so many with Rodgers.
  11. I'd have thought there'd be quite a few changes, this team needs some improvement if we go up. Surely selling players under contract who are not in Enso's plans will only help with FFP.
  12. https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/leicester-city-how-is-wesley-fofana-getting-on-since-leaving-the-king-power-stadium/ How is Wesley Fofana getting on since leaving the King Power Stadium? BY DECLAN HARTE PUBLISHED 3 HOURS AGO Taking a look at how Wesley Fofana's career has gone since departing Leicester City Wesley Fofana spent two seasons at Leicester City from 2020 to 2022 before departing for Chelsea. The centre-back was a key part of Brendan Rodgers’ side in his debut campaign with the Foxes. He featured 28 times in the Premier League, as the team earned a fifth place finish in the table (all stats from Fbref). Fofana was also part of the team that triumphed in the FA Cup final in 2021, lifting the famous trophy for the first time in the club’s history. However, his time at the King Power Stadium suffered a massive blow during the summer of his second campaign with the team. A significant injury issue meant he made just seven league appearances for Leicester in his second season. In the summer of 2022, a high-spending Chelsea made the decision to pursue the signing of Fofana from Leicester once he was back to full fitness. A deal worth £75 million was agreed in the final days of the transfer market, leading to his exit to Stamford Bridge. The defender signed a seven-year deal upon his arrival for the Blues, making him one of the most expensive centre-back signings of all time, rivalling Virgil van Dijk and Harry Maguire’s moves to Liverpool and Manchester United, respectively. However, he has been unable to come close to the heights even Maguire has reached at Old Trafford, let alone van Dijk, during his time with Chelsea so far. Wesley Fofana - league appearances in English football Wesley Fofana - league appearances in English football (per Fbref.com) Club Season Appearances (Starts) Leicester City 2020-21 28 (27) Leicester City 2021-22 7 Leicester City 2022-23 2 Chelsea 2022-23 15 (12) Chelsea 2023-24 0 Fofana’s first season in London saw him feature 15 times in the Premier League, as the club struggled under Thomas Tuchel and Graham Potter. The Blues finished 12th in the table, their lowest finish of the 21st century. Fofana made his debut for his new side just days after completing his transfer, featuring in a 2-1 win over West Ham in the Premier League. However, his first goal for the club, which came in a Champions League tie against AC Milan, was marked by another injury issue which meant he was substituted in the 38th minute. The knee injury, suffered in October, meant he missed four months of action before returning to the side in February. The 23-year-old returned in a 1-0 loss at home to Southampton, coming off the bench in the second half. Fofana’s first start since returning from injury came in a 1-0 win over Leeds United in March, in which he scored the winning goal. This was the first of 12 starts in a row in all competitions, with Chelsea also reaching the Champions League quarter-finals. However, he has yet to feature for the team this year. The arrival of Mauricio Pochettino as manager in the summer could have been the step forward Fofana needed in his career. However, he suffered an ACL injury prior to the club’s pre-season tour to the United States, which required surgery. He has been out of action ever since, with no immediate time frame given for his return. There is a chance he can make a recovery in time to play a role in this season, but nothing has yet been confirmed.
  13. The draw for the quarter finals of the FA Cup will take place on Wednesday at 19:00 GMT, before Chelsea's tie with Leeds United, which kicks off at 19:30. It will be live on ITV4 and you can also follow the draw on the BBC Sport website and app. Former England goalkeeper David Seaman, a four-time FA Cup winner with Arsenal, will conduct the draw. The ball numbers will be: Newcastle United Chelsea or Leeds United Leicester City Liverpool or Southampton Nottingham Forest or Manchester United Wolverhampton Wanderers or Brighton & Hove Albion Coventry City Manchester City
  14. He's also improving so many players not just technically but their confidence. Hopefully this means those that are no longer 'good enough' for the next level, be it the Championship or PL and under contract will be attractive to other teams and more saleable.
  15. His end product is no worse than most of the front players, they all need to improve. It's our biggest failing.
  16. Saving him for the next two games as a replacement/cover for the absent Vestergaard
  17. It's on the BBC REd button if that's any help over there.
  18. On BBC Red button from 7.20 Redbutton HD and Redbutton one

The event was well staffed, not just with police but also stewards who were very helpful and this enabled an all round positive atmosphere and vibe. Once we had parked up, we had a ~20-minute walk to the ground, and there were stewards on the route assisting with road safety etc. "We had contacted the club prior to the game for an autism pack for one of my children, and they were very helpful, provided this without charge, and left it for me to pick up at the ticket office upon arrival. The kit included a lanyard with push bubble strip, a fidget cube, and a set of ear defenders. All came in handy, and he loved the fidget cube, so a big thumbs up on this score.
  21. If not already posted VAR is back As a result, Championship sides playing away to Premier League sides such as Leeds, Leicester and Southampton will see VAR in their matches for the first time since the three clubs dropped out of the top flight last season. Should any fifth-round matches finish level after 90 minutes, extra time and, if necessary, penalties will be used to decide the tie. No replays are in place from the fifth round onwards.
