Could This Be the Most Important January Ever?
The Doctor replied to StanSP's topic in Leicester City Forum
they can't do more than 8, the rules are established that the punishment cannot be of equal level or worse than that for admin (-9). they can try going harder and Nick De Marco can take their bank accounts for his kids Christmas presents again -

the issue is PSR, not whether we have the money. that said, given how forest have benefited from just straight up ignoring the rules, just splurge and take the -8 points (as a maximum, probably lower) penalty next season (or more likely in 26/27 with how slow they are to dish out punishments) -
needs to be at least 48 hours. 72 would mean any Europa league teams (playing on Thursday) couldn't play the following weekend

if my recognising that the transfer window he presided over has done severe damage to our chances of survival is an anti cooper agenda then you definitely do have a pro cooper agenda, sorry to disappoint you -

he was the manager in charge in that window and we don't run a head coach model where recruitment is done without manager control, to pretend they're not his signings is a pro cooper agenda that doesn't stand up to basic scrutiny. besides BEK, not one improves our starting line up and that's the way you improve squad depth, not by signing new players worse than your current starters. -
Good work rate and a bit of creativity. Would be nice to see him and Facundo start but if not (if he's being recalled for Brighton to sell as rumoured), please get Mavididi back in a proper frame of mind and get another right winger to play alongside them, with how flimsy our defence is, outscoring everyone is our best route to survival.

That's the point isn't it? He signed Okoli, BDcR, Ayew, Skipp and Bilal and now, 5 games into a new manager, only two are starters and one of those is because the alternative is out for the season with an ACL. -

Fatawu, Winks, even Mavididi to some extent (he blows hot and cold and is currently out of form, but was on fire back in September). the mess is bigger than one manager I'll agree, it's the lack of a recruitment strategy for coaches as well as players (Enzo to Cooper is like going to the cinema, finding out the showing of wicked is cancelled so going to see Nosferatu), but Cooper's recruitment was players pretty much uniformly not good at one particular thing and barely PL starting quality -

You seriously gonna claim that the likes of Skipp and BDCR weren't his signings? And lets be clear, our DoF is incompetent and doesn't enforce a strategy and recruit players/coaches to fit. The signings under Enzo were clearly for Enzos system, with the exception of BEK I don't think we'd have made any of these signings under him if he had stayed. Rodgers and Congerton were given basically free reign to sign who they liked. It is basic pattern recognition to see that Cooper was given recruitment input and wasted 30m on Skipp, BDcR and Ayew because "muh premier league experience". -

He was, and the disgrace that was his recruitment is why we look this much of a mess. -
Stolarcyk (Mads if fit) JJ Coady Okoli Kristensen Soumare Winks Facundo BEK Mavididi Vardy I'd like to be able to drop JJ and Mavididi but there's no real alternatives. This is far more winnable than it would have been a couple of months ago if we go with bravery, but honestly just get through the game and get into the market quickly.

absolutely dogshit. god knows how many of their players did enough for two yellows to not even get a first. Robertson should have definitely been off for two bookable offences in the same passage of play, and MacAllister and VVD did enough for an accumulation as well. -
fair, he'll have to use the squad soon. Doesn't fancy Okoli but with Fatawu out for the season we've got no options to change up that three behind the striker beyond Ayew or Buonanotte
-
maybe, still think Okoli could be that if RvN gives him a chance
-
ref gonna give a single one of these stepping across body checks? was quick to book Ayew for less
-
right back, left back, a new winger. it's not as bad as it looked Sunday, indicating how much a bad goalkeeper brings the whole team down
-
come on ref, two hands in the back, no attempt to even pretend to go for the ball, how is that not a booking?
-
If Robertson is booked for asking for a yellow, he should be getting booked twice and be off given that clear foul on JJ. Hell, I've seen reds given for the foul on JJ alone.
-
Gonna go back and book Robertson????
-
oh but he gives that one. Blatant bias towards these scouse bastards.
-
another head injury the ref is entirely unbothered by. Mans a clown.
-
Desperately need a new RB though. JJ isn't a bad player but his confidence is in the ground. He needs a few weeks out of the firing line, but we've got no-one to give him that.
-
he didn't need speed there, just a brain. Stand on it, walk it towards the corner, make them foul you and kill time.
-
avoidable if we'd just chosen to waste the 90 seconds to half time.
-
just take it to the corner there Stephy.
