Yep. I don't like it but the professional fouls in your offensive third to stop breaks and exaggerating niggly fouls to get free kicks and force refs to make decisions is part of the modern game now, the opportunity to stomp it out when man city and Liverpool started with it has long been missed and we need to learn to play that game -

Literally Hull. Yesterday was pretty much the exact same pattern of game as against hull, the moment they got ahead it was niggling little fouls (not pulled up because we didn't make a meal of them) and timewasting to disrupt our play and stop our chances of getting back into it, enabled by a referee who was afraid of his cards and couldn't count to 5. -

Yesterday happens, you don't win every game and days where you create chances but the ball doesn't go in happen. Coventry we lead until 10 minutes from time having had a man sent off - there's a reason why having an extra player highly correlates with winning games. Ipswich again, came up against a keeper having a great game. Get your knees in check and stop overreacting to every minor setback as if it's the end of the world. -

He is right, you are wrong. Things don't need to improve, days like that where you create good chances and hit the side netting or sky tap ins over the bar happen sometimes. -
We didn't? The tactic was clear, put him out there to attack the back post with Fatawu floating crosses into that area when he was cutting back onto his left.

Bare in mind we've only gone behind in 8 games Won 3 (Coventry H, Swansea A, Millwall H) Lost 5 (Hull H, Leeds H, Mboro A, Cov A, Mboro H) Cov A I'm inclined to remove as we scored the first goal and didn't end up even level until 10 minutes to go, in a losing position until 89 minutes, so, when conceding the first goal we average 1.29 points per game, when we go behind during a game that goes to 1.13 points per game. That'd be 42 - 49 points over the course of a premier league season if that was our general form -

We did create loads of chances? It's not only a chance if you get it on target... -

Different manager, different coaching staff, and only 3 of today's starting 11 were regular starters in that team (Faes, Ricardo and KDH). It's the bed wetting from the fans and what almost feels like a desire for things to go wrong so they can do this "I told you so" routine that will create problems if anything. Players feed off the energy of the crowd and if the crowd are shitting themselves because we've lost 2 games in 18 then... -
Pretty much. Win on Friday and they're back to needing 1ppg extra on us to catch us, we're still in firm control and people need to stop with this pants shitting at every set back

How else do you describe creating multiple "absolute sitters"? -

That's... That's not how it works? The numbers (unless it's 88) signify year of birth in usernames, so he's 39 this year -
Him and KDH were not at the running today, if he wasn't the worst it's a dire endorsement of the performances of others. Honestly don't understand how this guy got caps for Belgium during their 'golden generation', he influences maybe one in every 10 games
-
His passing was not at it at all today and the second goal was a cock up between him and Mavididi. In his defence, second half he didn't have a winger in front of him but it wasn't a good performance

I've not but it definitely didn't hit his chest given it was at hip height, pretty sure we're thinking of different incidents -

His arm was outside of his silhouette and moved towards the ball, nearest player was McAteer like two yards away, not sure how you can claim it's not handball when it's not accidental and hits his hand -

Pretty sure it was, but something of a moot point given it's a foul regardless of who committed it -

I didn't say we were unlucky, I said they were lucky. -

Yep, clearly tripped him to get past him, its why JJ was going mental at the lino in the aftermath -

So, referees aren't competent enough to give decisions correctly without help then? Not like it was from a corner with a blocked sight line, it was out towards the side of the box -

They were lucky that we were sloppy and not clinical, because they gave up enough clear chances for it to conceivable finish 5-2 to us (Vestergaards header and blazing it over from 6 yards, Vardy missing a sitter and Patson making a hash of a header from 6 yards) -

I mean they absolutely were, given that happened and was the difference in the end. -
His pass into the kop at 0-2 could have done with being misplaced mind

Definitely a different incident, because it does hit his hand in the one Bert is mentioning
