Nelson, Doyle and Cover look the most comfortable of the 3 + holding midfield, despite Hamza and Coady being the most experienced. Call me crazy but I'd bring McAteer on for Choudhury and move Albrighton in there, he's got the passing range and work rate to do that role for a game

Go into advanced stats and he's 5th for PSxG +/- (i.e. has the 5th best difference between goals conceded and expected goals conceded from the shots he's faced, conceding 2.8 less goals so far than expected from the chances we've given up). I'd say that article is a new low in the abuse of stats but they don't even apply stats, just looked at a list of goalkeepers in the division.

They're really not complex and UFS and L1 are very different crowds, L1 are the insufferable soccer AM "bantz bantz bantz" lot who spend the entire match watching the away fans, UFS are the ones who want to act support the team.

McAteer was blowing from about 65 minutes. Bring him off instead for Yunus, or if KDH needs to come off send on Albrighton out wide for his work rate or put Yunus out there and bring Praet on

I mean, he's still getting far more right than wrong in how we set up, but we really need to improve on game management and utilising squad depth. You've got 5 subs and a 9 man bench including two former england internationals, an experienced winger, a Belgian international, a Turkish international and a highly rated left back, it doesn't need to be the same 11 for 80 minutes then a couple of token changes

Not fussed about winning this, would be nice but honestly we're looking lagging in fitness and with the subs never coming early enough could do without the extra fixtures

At the time when you claimed they could have had 2 or three they'd created nothing, you don't get to fluke it and claim you were right

Just, why did it take until 10 minutes from time until we made subs when they were clearly coming back into it, they don't deserve this, that's the second save Hermansen has had to make, we've outplayed them but not killed the game off
