  1. Possibly, I think he could potentially do a job in the centre but also just think hes not quite top 6 championship level yet
  2. The link up between Mav and Ricky there is incredible, why no one is attacking it though...
  3. Get in, now smash them
  4. McAteer could do with a league one loan, or bottom half of this division tbh, just not quite at it for the level we're wanting
  5. Do you not remember the early 2010s? Dudes the most irritating commentator out there
  6. Wait, we're not burning Rudkin on a pyre as half time entertainment?
  7. What's the opposite of stat padding, because that's KDHs passing tonight
  8. Take a touch there KDH, that was a great chance for 1-0
  9. Eh, bit of a tug but it'd be very soft and the sort of going down that gives you a decent chance of a booking
  10. The "just hoof it" brigade warming up their told you sos just there
  11. Ah but have you considered he had a bad loan spell here a decade ago so is basically Satan?
  12. JJ surely Edit: Nope, Hamza. Surely JJ isn't going to invert?
  13. Choudhury inverting, Ricky in the 8 role then?
  14. I mean that looks good, but whether it's value for money or not depends on how big those sauce holders are, because if they're the McDonald's sized ones then ****ing hell what a con
  15. A club legend departs. Thanks for your efforts in becoming fans player of the year 2022/23 Alex.
  16. Ipswich have 1 win in 6 in the league, 2 draws against us and QPR that they relied on very dubious no penalty calls to get (the foul on KDH second half and the hand ball in stoppage time v QPR) Swansea we're seeing today are not that good Stoke are right down in the bottom half Watford are inconsistent at best. Where is the tough run of fixtures compared to the rest of the season?
  17. I mean you realise we were 10 points clear this time last week? One defeat with 10 men and half this forum is ready to jump in the soar, how do you get through each week
  18. Only a loss on the timing of it. Dudes obviously got some ability about him, but currently he's not at the level we need, and not being our player permanently, there's not the patience that there would be for a Braybrooke or Alves, people we bring in on loan should strengthen us in the here and now, not have potential to be good for the parent club in the future.
  19. Unironically think Enzo could work some magic with him if he wanted to be here
  20. 3-4 years captures the second half of the 19/20 season (23 goals, golden boot winner), 20/21 (15 goals) and 21/22 (15 goals). I'll absolutely have this season and last but to claim 3-4 years is absurd
  21. I mean I, like all reasonable people, think Rodgers should have been put in the stocks after the Forest debacle and every season ticket holder and person who attended that game given a timeslot to boot him, but this is also the case, chunks of that team had checked out and decided that they were too big to be at little old Leicester. That said, why wasn't the rebuild possible? In summer 2021 he was backed handsomely and wasted it all on players that were not good enough and too highly paid to shift, not to mention that ultimately getting those wantaways to still show up on Saturday at 3pm is a part of the managers job.
  22. He does, but I think again that's because he's actually played the game to a level and understands the players mindset and how to relate to them, so as a result they respect him more so he has authority rather than being treated like a substitute teacher. How you encourage more like him I don't know given you need a certain level of physical fitness to be a ref so it's not a post retirement option like coaching is, and at every stage of the ladder refs are paid less than players so it's not a financially sensible career move for players I don't know
  23. Pretty much. They were going nowhere and the ref was obviously going to be spineless enough to cave to crowd pressure (he already wasn't having a good game given he'd tackled Casadei to set up a cov attack like 5 minutes before the penalty), silly to give the chance to the ref to do that
  24. The difference that having played to any level makes, understands the players, understands the game and knows how to manage a game. He's top class
  25. We've scored plenty on the counter this season (winks at WBA, the first two v Birmingham just in December alone, Cannon last week v Millwall) but counter as your primary strategy isn't sustainable, and generally needs to be applied sensibly, stretching ourselves at 1-0 up and a man down could have worked sure, could very easily have ended with it finishing 4 or 5 -1 instead.
